Get ready for it, we struggle so much against the bunker. The nads would be fools to open up play.

Reading these ESPN articles for the game, you’d think it’s the World Cup final. The Nads really get a hard on for Mexico lmao.

I mean it offers some sort of redemption. It has been a pretty disappointing decade for them. Remember how in the early 2000s so many media types in both English and Spanish talked about how the US was going to be a soccer power by now.

Yes, grandfather told me this and I had no reason to doubt him. He crossed the border many times between 1890-1980

Well it's a silly folk legend that has nothing to do with the actual etymology.

actually that is just a urban myth, the term comes from Spain and it is a distortion or an old way of saying "griego" (greek) as in "hablar griego" (speaking greek or foreigner)

They open 4 hours prior for games..

Ideally you get there at 4.

Grilling is good to go at 4.30.

And then you borracho y loco at 5.30.

With plenty of time to spare..

@SixKick did we win those tickets yet!!!

This Gold Cup has been ass and I've been having a lot of trouble keeping interest in this.

After sitting through that snooze fest that was the Costa Rica game, I basically decided to go to sleep when the Haiti game when to extra time, only to be woken up by a nonexistent penalty handed to Mexico.

Hope Mexico embarrasses the US, but this team is just so weak looking the times I've tried to watch them. I'm still waiting for Pizarro to do something, Raul looks like he's on an island, and mediocre teams have taken it to Mexico and the team hasn't exactly risen to the occasion.

Pizarro hussles for every ball and gives his all, it seems to me that he has little to no synergy with his teamates.
