Here's a fun story about lightning: In 1998, in the eastern province of Kasai in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a football match was forced to be abandoned by lightning, because one of the teams was full of whiny snowflakes that decided they couldn't keep playing in those conditions - just because eleven of their players got struck by lightning and died on the field. Damn snowflakes. If only they were tough like Russians! Russians are never bothered by lightning. And certainly it didn't bother them into a major tragedy a couple months ago.
Berhalter has played Zardes nothing like what he played in Columbus. Over there he was a guy that didn't touch the ball outside the 18. In this tournament he was played like a holding 9 which is not his strength. Maybe, just maybe, he was filling in for a real holding 9 that can pass.
