They wouldn't LOSE money if there was pro/rel because that's a license to print money because of all the interest it would bring to the thimble ful of clubs who might benefit. Duh.
C'mon Kenn, we had a nice string of 19 straight fish pun related posts in a row, and here you go using this thread for it's stated purpose.
If they werent so in your face about it, that would definitely bouy their chances of landing pro/rel.
The Grouper think in this thread is great, thought we should probably Pike down before it gets closed........
I've taken the time to mullet over and decided that the prospect of steering conversation back to the NASL lawsuit seems bleak. I'd try it myself, but I suspect that would be eel-advised. I'm as big a sucker for wordplay as the next guy, but this sort of prolonged punning would earn you a shiner in the real world. I'll say this much: it's going to take a dab hand at moderating to get things back on track. Well, I guess I'll scat and goby annoying in another thread.
So to completely derail this thread. The word “lox” is pretty interesting; it hasn’t changed meaning or pronunciation in 8,000 years. http://nautil.us/blog/the-english-word-that-hasnt-changed-in-sound-or-meaning-in-8000-years
Lox is just a misspelling of the Yiddish word lax or lachs meaning salmon, which ashkanazis adopted from the German lachs and/or Polish losos.
Every time I see this thread pop up, I’m wondering if they gave up their fight or not. Is there any new news on the NASL lawsuit or are they still litigating this? I can’t find anything online about it.....
I think the last update was that both parties asked for the discovery phase to be extended to December 2019 or January 2020.
