De Ligt: “Everything has gone real quick. Recently I had dinner with my football friends from when I was a kid, and we collected memories. One memory was that I always wanted to be Cristiano Ronaldo when we were playing football in the garden when still he played for Man United.” pic.twitter.com/ebTnBb4gGD— 𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐗 💎 (@TheEuropeanLad) June 26, 2019 De Ligt: “My first football shirt was also from him. And that dinner was just before our clash vs Juventus, where I had to fight duels with him. Something like that will always remain special.” [vi]link: https://t.co/q7PM0U3eer— 𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐗 💎 (@TheEuropeanLad) June 26, 2019
I knew about the Dutch Indonesians. I don't want to self-promote, but I did a blog team on them. More players born in Dutch Indonesia have played for Holland than players born in Suriname. I am using one "blood" rule, "grandfather" rule or whatever you called it. I have players such as Nigel De Jong, etc. I am also including European Dutch born in Indonesia. The Dutch East Indies team went to the WC Finals in 1938. It has been two years since I did this blog and I did many blogs. I forgot why nobody from that team was on my blog team. https://soccerfootballwhatever.blogspot.com/2017/12/dutch-indosindonesia-born-dutch.html I also did one for Suriname. I updated it with the inclusion of Van Dijk after the CL Final in 2019. This blog was one of my earliest teams. https://soccerfootballwhatever.blogspot.com/2015/08/dutch-surinamese.html I also did a blog team. This could have been the alternative German team at the 2002 WC Finals. I added the following players: Robert Kovac (Croatia), Robert Prosinecki (Croatia), Yıldıray Baştürk (Turkey), Ümit Davala (Turkey), Sebestian Diesler (Injured German), Mehmet Scholl (Injured German) and Stefan Effenberg (German who refused to play) to Germany's 2002 team. Effenberg and Prosinecki were at the end of their career. I added them into the team to make it interesting. I included Prosinecki, but not Owen Hargreaves. Both probably would never consider to play for Germany, but Prosinecki was born in Germany. https://soccerfootballwhatever.blogspot.com/2018/10/germany-2002.html PS: When I was a kid, I had this weird hobby. I selected national teams for the WC Finals. I did that more than I actually watched the game. That was before the invention of video games and EA Sports. And I started doing it again about 10 years ago when I started making all-time teams and I put all of them on a blog around 2014. Now, I am running out of ideas(I still have about 20 unfinished blog teams). Basically, I am doing Inter Milan or Manchester United all-time team for foreign players, etc.
Toni Kroos: "Joining Madrid was the best thing that could happen to me. Being the only German at Real commands more attention than being one of 7 at Bayern. What I have at Real would have never been possible at Bayern."🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/bWRL0y6cwb— Aira Jiso (@AiraJiso) June 26, 2019
[#Mercato🔁] Mourinho 💬 : "Si quelqu’un m’offre un contrat de dix ans et que l’objectif de l’équipe est de rester dans la première moitié du tableau et que si vous terminez 7e, 8e ou 9e c’est parfait. Ce n’est pas pour moi."(The Coaches Voice) pic.twitter.com/9wTL46l1F0— Footballogue (@Footballogue) June 26, 2019 If somebody offers me a 10 years contract with a goal that is to stay in the first part of the table, and that if you finish 7th, 8th, 9th it is perfect, then it isn't for me. (Mourinho, The Coaches Voice)
He better show us on the pitch as well. Kroos has been below par for a season and a half. He looked more like the guy I demanded we buy from bayern those last couple of matches though. So yeah, great. He better show us on the pitch.
Kroos hasn't been great past year, but he has been one of the best transfers we have ever done. 25M for a player of his quality is insane.
The best #10 in America. One of the best in the world James Rodríguez: Has created more clear-cut goalscoring opportunities (5) than any other player at the #CopaAmerica For more player stats -- https://t.co/KXnl0pRZKo pic.twitter.com/rKYrbBMkWC— WhoScored.com (@WhoScored) June 26, 2019
I don't care for Wilders, but his trial really is a farce (I believe it's the appeal, as the original ruling gave him a fine) literally worse things were said about Moroccans by other parties ("kut marrokanen") hell worse things get said about gays and women by certain other parties, and nothing happened. What he said wasn't even a statement, but a question. If anything justice should be taking the people who said "yes" to trial. But that doesn't make a political statement. I don't like the guy, I think he's another Russia shill with all his anti-EU talk, but I agree with his thoughts regarding this trial. A PVDA member can say that IS was a plan created by the zionists, and nothing happens to her in justice. But Wilders gets indicted....
By the way I'm flabbergasted that Neymar possibly going back to Barça is a real thing. He abandoned your club in horrible fashion trying to take in as much money as he could by only leaving at a certain date. You would literally pay more money than you received for a player that was already yours, who is now worse of (injuries, side stories) if this was a thing that happened at Madrid, I would say ******** that guy and let him rot in his own made 'Hell'. These bitches actually are trying to get him back. wtf
TBF, its a bit too early to judge anyone from #2 to about #6. Each of them could still turn out to be great buys.
At this moment in time definitely one of the best players in the world without caveat. I haven't seen another player put in a better performance than him this month.
OFFICIAL: Jasper Cillessen has signed a 4-year deal (till 2023) and his buyout clause will be of 80 million.'Officially', the deal with FC Barcelona has been closed for 35 million... which will promptly be 'repaid' when Barça buy Neto Murara for around the same quantity. pic.twitter.com/h6E3jcq44u— Paco Polit (in English 🇬🇧🇺🇸) (@pacopolitENG) June 26, 2019
It was told before, but you see it in action. Players swaps don't happen anymore besides a very few rare cases nowadays. The biggest reason is that agents get more money from normal transfers So instead of swaps, you make two transfers. You sell, and buy, so that agents get the money they want.
Glazers out campaign has been going on Twitter by Utd fans, but don't think it will have any effect just like in the past. Over £1 billion taken out of the club and they can’t even maintain our beautiful stadium #GlazersOut pic.twitter.com/Ltii92rh3i— JustRedDevils (@JustRedDevils) June 26, 2019
