In the squad this weekend: Martin #Harnik will miss tomorrow's game due to illness. Get well soon, Hanno! 🤞@aronjo20 comes into the squad to replace him 🔄#werder #TSGSVW pic.twitter.com/fZLkwectll— SV Werder Bremen EN (@werderbremen_en) May 10, 2019
Chances of Bacon playing meaningful minutes 0% Chances of Bacon getting hurt while twiddling his thumbs on the bench 70%
Chances of the Rapids picking him up and paying him 500k per year for 3 years then watching him sit in the bench injured as they enjoy the wooden spoon trophy... 90%
I liked the guy, but fibromyalgia is no joke. If I understand the condition , there are days it is probably extremely painful to even get out of bed. Pretty poor form to make light of an issue like that.
Bacon at Bremen no more: 🗨️ #Baumann:"We will say goodbye to @aronjo20 before Saturday's match. He's been unfortunate with injuries but has never given up. He deserves a send-off.No-one has made an enquiry about @milotrashica. He has become an extremely important player for us."#werder #SVWRBL pic.twitter.com/lHsROPIDWS— SV Werder Bremen EN (@werderbremen_en) May 16, 2019
Subbed on in the 87th minute for his last Werder appearance. Pizarro scored the winner a minute later.
He had a five minute cameo as his goodbye today. Pizza scored, though, so he leaves without doing much.
On the bench for a friendly: Here's how we line up! 📋SUBS: Plogmann, Pizarro, Möhwald, Rashica, Langkamp, Sahin, Johannsson, Plogmann, Barry, Schumacher, Ihorst.#werder pic.twitter.com/1qhiwFAJWz— SV Werder Bremen EN (@werderbremen_en) May 20, 2019
Possible move to Seattle?: https://www.deichstube.de/news/werd...l-seattle-sounders-usa-transfer-12665815.html
I mean, 4g/4a in less than 1000' isn't setting the league on fire, but it's enough to make any reasonable fan ask "what if...".
of course he's likely to leave Germany, who would want a injury prone striker who hasn't proven anything?
Wasn’t his time with AZ (admittedly quite some time ago) similarly productive to Jozy’s? He does get injured for longer than Jozy
AJ was good, but Jozy was more productive. 23 goals, and 16 goals for this two full years where as AJ was at 16 goals, and then 9 goals for his two full years. A 7 goal difference each year or a 40% increase in productivity from Jozy.
