I'm three episodes into season three, also the final season and I like it.

Obviously a lot of episodes still left to go but if it keeps up this level, I do think it will end up being better than season two.

Better than season 2 isn’t saying much though, is it. I’ll get to this eventually, JJ was always down on the list for me and there are too many other shows to catch up on first.

Five episodes into it now. The big bad has been properly introduced. Still very much into this season.
One caveat though. The Jeri Hogarth story-line might be the weakest of the three seasons, unfortunately.

    Up to episode nine.

It's still decent though the serial killer plot is getting a bit silly.

The Jeri Hogarth thing is somehow getting worse than it already was.

Up to episode eleven now and I hate to report that this is another Marvel Netflix show very guilty of the Netflix bloat.

Having said that, it's still just about ahead of season two and will remain that way if the last two episodes aren't disastrously bad.

Done with the third season and thus also the series.

The second half of season three was a bit of a letdown. Partially because the Big Bad wasn't interesting enough to carry thirteen episodes. Partially because of how they tried to solve that.

It still just about edges out season two, but it's a lot closer than it was after I had only see the first half of the season.

Also, I think that many people will have misinterpreted that final scene, based on some of the stuff I have read online.

I finished the season today. I just started it yesterday, so apparently it was very watchable - I usually don't binge so many episodes in such a short time.

I'm not going to rank it with every other show, but this was definitely better than JJ season 2, and while probably not as good as season 1, it was easier to watch. Less padding than many other seasons, and no really abrupt shift from the first half to the second half. It did kind of peter out towards the end, just kind of slouched off into the sunset instead of going out with a big bang.

It was a little weird that they didn't have more appearances by characters from the other shows. Luke Cage only showed up for that one pep talk in the last episode. There were lots of cops but no Misty Knight or that guy from Daredevil. There were lots of scenes in the hospital but no Claire Temple (I guess she left town in Luke Cage season 2) and they mentioned the creepy morgue guy but didn't show him. That one reporter (Thembi Wallace?) showed up, but outside of her and the Luke Cage cameo, it felt very standalone, it didn't feel like it was in the same universe as the other shows.

I was surprised when they killed... hmm, no [R] in the thread title... I was surprised that they killed that one character. I was expecting someone to die, to reinforce how bad the bad guy was, but I thought it was going to be the friendly cop.

Overall, the Marvel shows on Netflix were an interesting experiment. Much darker in theme than the movies or the ABC shows. I would have liked to see more references to / interactions with the movie universe, but it's hard enough to keep consistency within the movies, much less get a bunch of separate TV shows on the same page. A good study of some of Marvel's other characters that weren't appropriate for the big screen.

I will say that I have always admired how Jessica Jones managed to walk the tightrope between being a superhero show and somehow being a show that isn't very interested in being a superhero show at the same time.
