Herdman rested the whole midfield except Hutchinson, rested our best striker David and brought the best combination of defenders he had... He's exposing the defense to Mexican attack so they get used to it if there is another match.
They’re bad, they’re just the least bad of the 3 rivals. With an already depleted squad I don’t see the rationale behind experimenting with the midfielders.
