That really is a shame. Wish him all the best with his recovery.

No sanctions for Cagliari following their fans racist chants against Moise Kean.

The FIGC will never change and the problems will persist.

    Blows my mind...

FIGC: Why aren't great players wanting to come to our league?

Looks like Barzagli is getting a role in Juve, seems like he might be a part of the new coach's staff.

Guess who finally hits a free kick into the net. And from about 30 yards out too.

What her attorney is stating makes little sense in terms of criminal prosecution.

“The charges were not dropped-- the state case was dismissed by us because we filed the identical claims in federal court due to federal court's rules on serving foreigners,” Mayorga’s lawyer, Leslie Mark Stovall, told ESPN FC.

“We basically just switched venues, but the claims remain.”

If what she states is true, then it is a civil claim. The government (state or national) decides what it wants to prosecute, not the victim. Supposedly the Las Vegas police still have their investigation open. That is not the same as a criminal indictment.

Perhaps the attorney was trying to clarify the record as to what they were pursuing. I think people that don't do this on a daily basis may not differentiate between a criminal complaint for sexual assault versus a civil litigation arising out of the same set of facts. Certainly, based on the media coverage, one can understand how the public would be confused by this.

What I don't understand is how there can be any civil suit since she was already paid off.

A criminal one, maybe, but a civil suit?

She can file a suit. Her argument if I recall was that she was forced into it, not properly advised by legal counsel. Whether there is any merit, who knows.

The reporting on this is very poor.

Again, the facts are somewhat confusing given the report. However, assuming she is within the statute of limitations, she can bring a claim for, among other things, sexual battery against Ronaldo. What she purportedly agreed to when she was "paid off" earlier sounds like a non-disclosure agreement, of which I assume she is in breach given the filing of the new suit and her attorneys' public comments when the issue first came to light.

If it were me, I'd file a counterclaim for violation of the non-disclosure agreement.

From July 1st Enrica Tarchi will no longer be head of Juventus press office, she will now join Mino Raiola's agency as part of the communication department.

This could be big for us bringing in Raiola clients. Or it could mean nothing

29 shots. No goals. Very poor. I don't care how negative Poland have been.
