no real youth updates but shows the growing issue. HSV who are having a growing exodus of players. Looks like Hecking is dumping every youth player either at II or out the door. And 1st team chances will be very difficult for anyone likely will be injury to others based.

only ones left with 1st team seem to be Wintzheimer and Vagnoman and the on loan Fein that's it.

    -Arp left for Bayern
    -Pfeiffer left for 2BL Darmstadt
-Kohlert left for Willem II in Eredivisie
-Ferati, Knost, Kwarteng dumped to II
-Stark left HSV and actually joined rivals St Pauli II. His move to II is not your typical II move where there is no discussion about the player who moved, which implies unless the player really impresses, likely to not initially have 1st team prospects.

"We are glad that we were able to convince Christian to join us, of course we have been following his career for a long time, he has a great mentality, train to goal, a good degree and not least the athletic basis to also recommend himself to the pros ", Roger Stilz, head of the young talent center.

which means 98 CF Stark is a 1st team prospect. Which could add yet another 98 striker to 1BL-2BL. So he can't make it at HSV but could make it at Pauli.....Seems like another 1-2 98 could join 2BL this Summer.

-Behounek, Mohssen Porath and a few others dumped from the club.
-Opoku dumped on loan to 3rd Liga
-Behrens joined Magdeburg in 3rd Liga

all that's left is 00-David and 98-Ambrosius but neither are officially listed for HSV II. According to MOPO, Ambrosius is to be let go, not sure if loan or permanent. And for now nothing about David.

Who remembers 97 CF Knoll who said that HSV wanted him to renew with him but had 0 plans for him......eh what????????

Sad part is from the leftovers, Vagnoman is the last HSV Academy player (unless David is still a thing). Wintzheimer and Fein come from Bayern. What is HSV doing? Just going for players who already have experience instead of dev their own. Such a fricking mess of a club. Seems like Knost, H.Bukusu, Pakia (U19), Kwarteng, Kabuya etc could be the ones with potential for more depending on how they do next few seasons.

Seems like I'm delaying my break until Friday-onwards. That's when for sure I'll stop for awhile.

-00 Striker Maurice Malone to the Augsburg 1st team? Seems headed for a pro contract and will be part of the 1st team. Issue is Augsburg 1st team is packed uptop.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/maurice-malone_14313/malone-rueckt-in-den-fokus-271478/

-01 Striker Cakar has tons of interest. Frankfurt want to give him a pro contract, other 1BL clubs want him and also has Turkish 1st league interest. Not sure why stay at Frankfurt who don't trust any U19 players anyways......
    https://www.transfermarkt.de/intere...aeger-cakar-vorzeitig-binden/view/news/338512

-98 Gul extends with Fortuna and going back on loan to Wehen and playing 2BL next season. Funkel said that even though he did well in 3rd Liga last season, not enough for 1BL.

-97 striker lyoha extends his Fortuna contract.

-00 Striker Ngankam scored 4 goals for Hertha II in their 1st preseason match in a 9-1 win over 6th division club.

    -3 Furth youth players.

-Besides 98 Stark going to Pauli II with 1st team prospects. Looks like 98 striker Mause is on trial with 2BL Aue.

-97 striker Huth and 98 striker Japel moving to 3rd Liga club along with LB 99-Hartel (loan).

-99 Fein on loan to HSV.

-98 Burnic is torn between Dortmund (unlikely), 2BL Dynamo, or 1BL interest in him.

disappointing that Mai was blocked from going on loan in the 2018-2019 season. This season he should be playing 1BL not 2BL.

and he got blocked from 2BL loan due to being the back up player. So yup once again a player getting screwed over by his own club.

more like our 4 fraudulent pro contracts are no longer eligible for U19 and since we have 0 interest in them, they are out. Now the real question is what happens to 00-Cetin (contract until 2020) and 00-N.Stendera (contract until 2022).

    -Meanwhile

DFB.de: In the classification of the DFB coach for the junior national teams, a new structure was introduced. Can you explain what this is about?

Schönweitz: The coaching team at the U 21 is the model for the new structure. It's about every national team being led by a head coach and two co-coaches. This triad should unite three types of trainers. The "Type Experience", the "Type Innovation" and the "Type Age Specialist". In the U 21 these guys are Stefan Kuntz, Daniel Niedzkowski and Antonio di Salvo. They have worked together successfully for almost three years in the U 21, this model we have now extended to the entire U-trainer area. This means that it is not only important to accompany the seven head coaches intensively, but all 21 coaches of the U-national teams. The occupation and distribution of tasks has taken a lot of time in recent months. Here we are now close to completing the restructuring.

DFB.de: How important is the performance of the German U 21 at the European Championships in Italy and San Marino for the DFB?

Schönweitz: The U-21 national teams enjoy a much higher level of publicity than any younger U-team. The focus and also the transfer fees are quite different, keyword Luka Jovic, who will move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Real Madrid for 60 million euros. Ultimately, for us in the entire U-area is about developing players so that they can later play in the senior team and win there World or European Championships. The U21 is the last step before this goal, so here the focus is more on the result than in the other junior teams. As a direct substructure of the senior national team is about preparing the players as best as possible for the leap into the international top. From the current team some players could form the framework for the European Championship 2024 in Germany.

-looks like 00-Massimo's 2 year loan was cut off and he's back to Stuttgart. Makes sense he barely got chances and did well when given the chance but as always our players are injury prone..........And with Stuttgart relegated he can just play with them.

-Have to say 97-Kauper is currently going for 2 consecutive seasons of 0 progress.
    It's crazy his timeline.

2017-2018 season makes his pro/1BL debut. Gets tons of praise and Bremen want to integrate him the next season when he comes back from injury,
2018-2019 season, as he's being integrated in preaseason, gets injured

    18/19 Ruptured ankle aigament Aug 18, 2018 Nov 15, 2018 89 days 13 matches
    17/18 Foot surgery Jan 25, 2018 Jun 28, 2018 154 days 16 matches

and when he comes back, he's lost all relevancy to the 1st team. So they loan him to 2BL in Winter 2019. Gets loaned to Aue and for unknown reason gets suspended (unprofessionalism???). Fastforward to Summer 2019, he hasn't really played all season and likely no one in 2BL wants him due to the Aue incident and gets dumped on loan to 3rd Liga.

A player so close to the 1st team at one point, now getting dumped to low level. In Summer 2020, would not be surprised if he ends up in 2BL loan or permanent. And between Staudi, Gruev, Mbom etc, might not be any more space for him in 1st team.

A description of 00 Striker Burkardt who can also play Winger from a Mainz fan. Seems to be pretty accurate.

"So at least Burkardt I see very well on the wing. For me, two crucial characteristics of Burkardt make the difference: He is very fast and dynamic. And he's a very good dribbler who has the ball close to his foot and has strong body delusions and tricks in store. The whole thing may of course not be fully developed at the level of the Bundesliga. But the approaches are very promising. Especially since he is also pretty good at graduation, at least he never torches long. So the odds could sometimes be a bit higher. Where he is tactically very good and far, are the defensive tasks. Something is missing here on the body. But if I compare him to last summer, there is already a physical development. Otherwise, of course, especially as a hanging tip."

A lot easier for strikers if they can also play on the wings as it allows them to go 1v1 and at the same time get playing time and later on move back uptop. Burkardt could be used as Winger in 4-3-3 or as a striker if they play 2 uptop, And of course he will need time to develop in 1BL.

still remember Football Transfer Scout Twitter comparing him to Luis Suarez.:p

nice to see another 98-99 GK in top 2 divisions after Schubert.:D Hope to see more jump to higher level. We have like 3-4 who could be #1 in 3rd Liga too. And not just that he's a contender for #1.

99-Bartels goes to 2BL Wehen on loan for next season.

"Jan-Christoph is one of the most hopeful German goalkeeper talents", explains sporting director Christian Hock. "He is to compete with Lukas Watkowiak for the place in goal, at the end of which we have a good number 1 goal."

The native of Wiesbaden came in the past season to 17 missions in the second team of the 1st FC Cologne in the Regionalliga West. He went through all U-national teams of the DFB. He is current U20 national player.

"Jan-Christoph brings everything a goalkeeper needs in terms of qualities to play 2nd Bundesliga. We deliberately committed him as a competitor for Lukas Watkowiak, "commented chief coach Rüdiger Rehm.

Bartels is happy about the return to his native town: "I feel very well here and hardly need any time to get used to it. I want to develop my sport and I'm glad for the chance for the number 1 in the second division. My goal is to make as many games as possible. "

Besides that, Koln does have interesting GKs in their ranks like U17 champ Adamczyk, Krahl and like another 1-2 guys.

    very sad story.
As a young footballer to switch to a major Bundesliga club - for Manasse Fionouke (20) this dream has come true. The amateur kicker from SC Victoria Hamburg received a contract for the U23 from Werder Bremen!

The center-back: "I'm absolutely surprised how fast it all went. That's just awesome. "

The talent has a moving past behind it.

At the age of three he came with the family from Togo to Hamburg-Harburg. He made his first steps in football in a project by "NestWerk e.V." (founded in 1999 by Reinhold Beckmann), which is committed to socially disadvantaged children and adolescents.

2013 a tragic event in the youth at Dersimspor, the first youth club of Fionouke in Hamburg-Harburg. Manasseh's 7-year-old brother Effrahim is killed by a tipping football goal while training.

Manasseh, who was moving in the cabin during the accident: "I was 13 years old. Football was our life. We had sworn shortly before that we wanted to bring it to football professionals. "

Also for his little brother Manasse pursued his dream on: "My first goal for Victoria was for Effi. That was very emotional. The whole season was very good for me, so Werder was also aware of me. "There were also offers from Teutonia 05 Hamburg and Eintracht Norderstedt - but not from the Hamburg professional clubs FC St. Pauli or HSV. Instead, Werder struck.

Fionouke: "I will give everything to make my professional dream come true - and to fulfill the promise for my little brother."

have to say, with Nubel (displaced Fahrmann)/F.Muller both starters in 1BL and plenty of others, looks like German is starting to produce interesting GKs again.

For awhile it looked bare outside of Trapp/Leno/ter Stegen maybe Horn too and it explains why so many clubs went for foreign GKs. But now a lot of #3s are German youngsters who clubs see as future #1 and are prepping them for that. Could be cool if 01-Unbehaun, 00-Fruchtl, 00-Plogmann and plenty of others can actually wind up as #1 in their clubs.

Bartels getting experience could make him a contender to overthrow Horn in the future.

Hertha Berlin's Jarstein turns 35 in Sept. Could open up chance for 96-Korber, 99-Smarsch, 00-Klatte as future #1. Gersbeck (seems headed out) and Klinsmann Jr (already out), make that more possible.

there are plenty of interesting GKs not going to name them all and some are currently abroad.

VfB Stuttgart started the season preparation with the obligatory lactate test. Not without some surprising personalities. Stuttgart - The junior players made the beginning. David Grözinger, Luca Mack, Antonis Aidonis, Sebastian Hornung and Leon Dajaku proved on the treadmill that they dutifully unpacked their program during the summer break. Breath analysis, blood counts, stamina - the full range of data was tracked in the mandatory lactate test, which marked the start of preparation for the VfB players. The biggest surprise, however, comes from East Westphalia. Roberto Massimo's loan to Bielefeld was ended earlier, the youngster gets a safe squad place. "Roberto is a talented player with a lot of potential. The past season at Arminia Bielefeld has not been satisfactory for him personally. We are very glad that we were able to find a good solution in the talks with the people in charge of Arminia and that Roberto is already coming to us this season, "says Sven Mislintat.
    https://www.stuttgarter-nachrichten...akt.61082717-e04c-40ec-af9d-1b6a7a295380.html

confirmation of the Stuttgart youth in 1st team.
    99-Grozinger
    00-Mack, Massimo
01-Dajaku, Aidonis, Hornung (another interesting GK).

The other 99-00s will either have to impress throughout the season in II or leave permanently (buyback?) or on loan. 01s can still play U19 next season.

    Also forget this one.

See this is a real loan, going to Eredivisie for the season and not your 97-Jacobsen going on loan to 3rd Liga.

If one compares RB (issue position) for next U21 cycle as in 98-99. We are packed with choices.
LB: GL Itter, Czyborra, Beste, Handwerker, Jakob (Augsburg, had injury issues last season, who knows where he currently stands), Grozinger (guy mentioned above as with Stuttgart 1st team), Nurnberger, Agu (seems to be able to play both LB and RB), J.Meier

maybe I'm missing a few from higher level, just from memory and of course others are currently RL, 3rd Liga loan, 3rd Liga players.

    compare that to RB
RB: Amade (some people say, the club sees him at DM not RB. I hope not, there is Geiger for that and has a pro contract and made his pro debut but still a II player. Another player that dear Nagelsmann did not bother to develop before he left), Passlack (who the hell knows where he's going next???), Goden (last update was that he was headed for loan, presuming 3rd Liga.....)

Bunch of others are currently RL, 3rd Liga loan, 3rd Liga players. Yikes that we have 0 established 98-99 RBs......All 3 options have pro experience but they aren't regulars anywhere.

at this rate, either we play someone at RB or we could end up playing some 00s like Beyer (CB/RB) or Ludewig (if he can breakthrough at RB Salzburg) or Vagnoman who's able to play both LB and RB.

funny thing about Vagnoman if we call him up early if he plays at HSV.

    Last 3 U21s
2017-Toljan can play LB and RB
2019-Henrichs can play LB and RB
2021-Vagnoman can play LB and RB???

An expansion on the 3 Furth youth players, 2 01s in Leweling and Miftaraj and 1 02 in Torlak. I honestly only know Leweling from the 3.

Three important pillars from the performance range of the infra Fürth Cloverleaf Academy have now been tied to the match team for the long term - and will be on the training launch of the pros tomorrow, Wednesday.

One of them is offensive Mert-Yusuf Torlak, who scored 22 times in 21 matches in the past U17 Bundesliga season and signed a three-year contract (plus option). In addition, the U19 squad includes winger Jamie Leweling (28 U-19 matches, 17 goals) and defender Viktor Miftaraj (27 U-19s, 2 goals) - both with a two-year contract including an option. The shamrock talents are part of the A-junior squad in the coming season, but initially train with the pros under Stefan Leitl.

"We are pleased that we were able to bind the three in the long term. Mert is an offensive man, who has a great part in the rise of the U17 with his scoring and dynamism. In the U19, Jamie's attention was drawn to his speed and his ability in one-on-one, Viktor by his calm and charisma in the defense, "says Mirko Reichel, athletic director of the infra Fürth Clover Academy. Rachid Azzouzi, Managing Director Sports, adds: "Mert, Jamie and Viktor are important pillars for our A-Juniors in the upcoming Bundesliga season. We see great potential in the three and want to introduce them to the licensing area. "

    Sounds like future 1st teamers.

speaking of 01 striker Cakar, lol at how the low profile striker is getting all the attention while Makanda who was more "rated" by people has done nothing in his 1st U19 season. Still has 1 season to go. That's always been the issue with doing well in U17, not always easy to translate that to U19. I was always distant towards the Makanda hype and more wait and see on him. Seems like his physicality edge in U17 level is what helped him do better.

Cakar pretty much saved Frankfurt U19 from relegation. Which could be the real reason they want to keep him.

but seriously Frankfurt U19, Bayer U19 and RB U19 are the 3 that it's better if they never get relegated to lower U19 due to them having no II team.

00 GK Plogmann, 1st 00-onwards GK to play in 1BL last season is someone Bremen still want to loan out.

In the coming season, the 19-year-old should take the next step, so have discussed it player and Werder. For a club in the 2nd or 3rd league is sought, even a change to nearby foreign countries is an option. But the market for goalkeepers is complicated, the search for a lending club is simply not.

"There are always interested parties," says Thomas Eichin, who represents Plogmann with his agency "Sam Sports". More than a dozen clubs are said to have had talks with them. Nothing is perfect yet. And that will probably not change in the near future.

A loan is planned, the option for a purchase is not included. This makes the club search difficult, many clubs want a contractually secured access right. For this Plogmann has earned a well-funded contract, estimated 300,000 euros, the young professional in Bremen. It is customary in the industry, and in this case also probable, that the donating club, ie Werder, continues to pay part of the salary. Because, even that is significant, in the lower two German profile, but also in the Netherlands or Austria, significantly lower salaries are paid.

The prerequisite for a transfer is also that Plogmann is used at the new club. "It must make sense," says Eichin. "We need a pretty clear message that Luca is playing." But many clubs shy away from the risk of putting a very talented but inexperienced goalkeeper between the posts. "If it is not possible to find a club on a good level, where he can collect match practice, then it may well be that Luca continues in the new season with us as the number 3 goal," said Frank Baumann in early June on demand.

very interesting turn of events in U21 Euro. Spain barely beat Belgium and Italy lost to Poland 1-0.

    Group A
    1-Poland 6 pts GD +2
    2-Italy 3 pts GD +1
    3-Spain 3 pts GD -1
4-Belgium 0 pts GD -2.......Already eliminated from competition.

tiebreakers are head to head, so Italy have the edge due to beating Spain. Kind of sucks because Poland got lucky.....

Could be cool to see both Spain and Italy go out. :devilish: Now we need to make sure to win vs Serbia tomorrow.

Speaking of Frankfurt and Youth players...........2 updates, the 1st.

1-Update on 00-N.Stendera (more rated than his injury prone and career ruined M.Stendera, who is finally leaving Frankfurt this season). The words come from the Frankfurt President, Peter Fischer too.

    Hope for new Stendera
Anyone who longs for a little more local flavor in the Hesse, could soon be rewarded with a new, old name: The already equipped with a professional contract young player Nils Stendera brings according to Fischer's armaments to the Bundesliga player. With his speed and height, the 18-year-old can play a classic offensive six, Fischer said.

Meanwhile, Brother Nils believes that club leaders are looking for a more successful development. President Fischer finds his usual open words: "I hope that the Stenderas not only cost us all money, but that at the end of the day they also become seasoned football professionals." In the best case even identification figures.
    https://www.hessenschau.de/sport/fu...e-eintracht-helden,eintracht-fischer-102.html

LOL at DFB if Raschl, N.Stendera, Mercan, Gruev, Can and others all make it in 1BL soon, not counting your Kutucus already with pros since last season (only looking at 00 players).

Anyone notice that 3 DMs in Raschl (Dortmund), Stendera (Frankfurt), and Gruev (Bremen) all have pro contracts and all rated by their clubs and what other common factor? None have ever been relevant to the DFB. The dual from the 3 is already provisionally capped by another country. Not just that Raschl has been named from the mouth of Watzke himself, Stendera is bring brought up by the Frankfurt President, Gruev and Philipp are said to be the U19/II players the closest to 1st team for Bremen.

Kind of nuts to think if Raschl pans out at Dortmund 1st team and he had 0 relevance to the youth NT from beginning to present day.

and we call up 00-David from HSV who wasn't impressive at all for Germany. And I was against David's call up and inclusion in XI, had no business there. Shows once again, youth NT doesn't mean squat to pro careers. Nor are there anywhere near the best team.

I agree with Schonweitz, always said the only relevant Youth NT is U21.

although it's interesting to note, how a lot of players use them getting called up to the Youth NT to advance their careers. 99-Pfeiffer, 99-Bartels, 99-Y.Otto all benefited from playing with Germany youth even if only friendlies like Pfeiffer. Reality is Y.Otto didn't do much in his last U19 season and was shockingly Germany's main striker throughout the 99 age group along with unprofessional Dadashov and Wintzheimer, which was ridiculous and he was nowhere near the best striker for his age group for a player who seems himself more of a AM/SS too. When EB from 3rd Liga signed him up last season, they highlighted how given that he was the main striker for his age group it meant he was one of the best, lolol. Basically that was the sell of Y.Otto......

it's also why I find the whole dual thing troublesome. These days, feels like every kid wants to play youth NT. Germany doesn't call them up, they jump ship to another country. And if these kids, like Kutucu, Mercan, Can, Gruev, Akono etc pan out in 1BL, too bad they are involved in other FAs and shrinks our player pool. And let's be honest huge gigantic amount of the world wants to poach German duals. There was even a report about how more and more of Germany is being stalked because other countries want our dev instead of dev their own players. And why not poach players in 1BL Academies and if they pan out in 1BL they have the edge to permanently cap them. Although if Germany can "poach" Kutucu from Turkey in youth level, he'll be like L.Nmecha permanently capped at the youth level.

Frankfurt Youth Update 2. Interview with Technical Director Marco Pezzaiuoli who also coached the U19 at the end of the season and saved them from relegation.

The professional squad for the new season is slowly taking shape. Of the six players from Eintracht's performance center who had a professional contract, Sahverdi Cetin and Nils Stendera have been taken on. A confirmation of your work?

That can not be read off the quota. Rather, a confirmation of our work is that almost all players of this year's U19 have come to excellent clubs such as VfL Wolfsburg, FC Schalke 04 or Hamburger SV. Although we have barely managed to stay in the A-junior Bundesliga, performances at international tournaments against Gladbach, Anderlecht, Zagreb and other teams have shown that we can compete very well.

For you, was it a mistake that Eintracht disbanded the U-23 team years ago?

The Bundesliga teams would have to be obliged to create framework conditions for the ages 19 to 21, so that stepping into senior and paid football is made easier. Here I see the DFB in the responsibility. That up-and-coming talents, who come from the U19, prevail at first with the professionals, happens very rarely. For example, from the team that made us U-17 World Champion, only Mario Götze managed to establish himself directly with the pros. Others like Marvin Plattenhardt, Kevin Volland or Shkodran Mustafi, however, have been over missions in the U23 national team. There are also promising talents in Eintracht who have the potential to become a pro. As a rule, the young players still need some time and, above all, match practice.

The youth work of Eintracht did not enjoy the best reputation in recent years, many talents preferred to Mainz or Hoffenheim. How do you want to change that?

I can not confirm that. The players we wanted to sign up for the different age groups at the beginning of the 2018/19 season also came to us.

But the Eintracht performance center is not a paradise for the next generation, is it?

Of course, our infrastructure could be a little better, but we've tried our financial resources to make the most of it. In the last few years Eintracht has developed a lot, investing more in the next generation, and also setting some course for the future. We can not change things overnight, it takes time. Models like Ajax Amsterdam and FC Barcelona are unique, but they have also grown over 30, 40 years. Ajax also has a young talent in the double-digit million range.

    And the concord?

We are among the Bundesliga clubs in the lower third.

Now the Eintracht is sporty and economically successful for a long time and Sport Board Fredi Bobic knows the value of good youth work. Are there rosy times?

Simply picking up money is not enough. We have to work sustainably. The ProfiCamp under construction is planned in such a way that a spatial approximation of the U19 to the license players would be possible. Of course this motivates the young players immensely. We think outside the box and imply other sports in our workouts. We have developed a new concept for the next generation. In addition, we plan to expand the 14 boarding places so far.

If 19-year-olds like N'Dicka and Jovic are hired for millions, is that a blow to the neck for their youth players?

It's not easy for them, but it has to be an incentive too. N'Dicka is a top talent. Our goal is to produce players of the kindness of a N'Dicka. Then the athletic leadership will certainly not commit talents abroad.

What is meant by the term accompanying the top talents?

We must accompany our youth players not only on the footballing level, but also in the fields of sports psychology, media training and athletics. It creates a problem when the top talents between professional and young talent back and forth. Game and training rhythms are different, so stress control needs to be coordinated to improve performance.

How often do the top talents practice with the pros?

As often as possible. In the past season it was due to the many English weeks through the Europa League a little less. The talents then trained with the professionals left behind. At the beginning of the season, the squad with over 30 professionals was still very big. At that time, it was hard to keep up with the juniors. Regularity took place in goalkeeper training.

Have you established a special training with the top talents?
Our concept looks different. All youth players, not just the top talents, have individual training two to three times a week from the U15 on, receive individual stimuli. In addition, there are position-specific and group-tactical units. We divide a training into up to four groups. Maybe I'll stand in the square and take a group. For example, strikers are training to score goals, moving in the box, playing head-on, pushing opponents from the front, from the side. Defenders practice more playmaking, defensive header from different positions. It's no longer that eleven come to training and all are training the same. We do not know who will end up as a pro, but we need to give everyone the best possible chance.

And then you take over, as it suits, individual training sessions at the U15, U16, U17 or U19?

Our sports management accompanies the individual teams, training contents are discussed, we are companions, supporters, give feedback. There are principles in our training work, principles in playing with the ball, against the ball, in the positional game. From this the trainers can derive their training, they can also address us, many take advantage of it.

Do you also offer coach training?

Training courses are a fundamental part of Eintracht. They are important for everyone to follow the same age line, use the same language, and make the same corrections. For the full-time coaches, a training course was also offered almost every Tuesday: how do we defend, man coverage, zone coverage in line, in staggering. We want to come to a common denominator.

What kind of details do you have to come to a common denominator?

An example. Previously, when the cross came out of play, top teams conceded quite a few goals over the short post. Because the first defender stood three, four meters in front of the first post. The ball flew over him and the attacker came to a conclusion. Today, when a cross comes in, the top team is the defender at the level of the first goal post. Where the most dangerous room is. This is something that is discussed with the young coaches. In addition, of course, there are countless game situations and game principles that you can show. We show videos from the Champions League, we orient ourselves at the highest level. Or we look at scenes from our first team. We follow the same principles as the Bundesliga team.

Which training philosophy did you develop for Eintracht?

It's a lot of football, a lot of balling is done. From the U10 to the U19, the focus is on implicit training. That means, we can only practice in forms of 1 against 1 to 4 against 4 until the U14. The point is that children have a lot of ball contacts, that they have to make decisions, without any guidelines. Most players have two goals to choose from, which they can storm or defend. You also have to make the decisions yourself later in the game. Training them early in life makes it easier for them to get older.

The Spaniards have faked it, they place much more emphasis on playfulness and individuality during their training - and with success.

Exactly, but we take our inspiration from many countries. Frankfurt is a multicultural city, Eintracht has multicultural players. We take the best of all countries, that which in the end suits harmony.

    And what suits Eintracht?
Eintracht plays very aggressively, defends high, bravely tries to play forward, tries to act rather than react, finds flexible solutions and has an excellent mentality.

Does that mean training: abandonment of outcome football, no longer favoring big and strong players?
We work on the topic. We do not give any results to our coaches. Believe me, I do not know what ranks the U12, U13 or U14 are. It is about the individual promotion of the players. The headline of our concept is fun. If children do not smile after a workout, we did something wrong.

does that mean Cetin is also in? Always funny how they claim that they have such a small budget yet always buy players. Who is he kidding N'Dicka had like 15 pro games before he even moved to Frankfurt. Not the same as someone with 0 games and only U19. Besides it's harder for inexperienced youngsters to make it in Germany than in France who do a better job a propping up youngsters.

99-Opoku loaned to 3rd Liga for the season.

    97-Tietz finally goes 2BL

"Phillip is a physically strong striker, who played a very good season in Jena," said sporting director Christian Hock. "He should continue to expand his performance here and put pressure on the established striker."

"Phillip is a similar type of player as Manuel Schäffler. He fits well with our way of playing football, to our game, "said head coach Rüdiger Rehm. "He is a classic striker who is always playable, uses his teammates very well and has a strong scoring record."

"I like how the team plays football and acts as a team," said Tietz about the change. "I want to evolve and get as much playing time as possible. The new city, the new club and the 2nd Bundesliga are definitely a big challenge for me. "

98-Sontheimer goes back on loan to 3rd Liga with purchase option (doesn't sound like 2BL Furth has any plans for him).

98 GK Frommann could be headed on loan to 3rd Liga SG.

    -Meanwhile 99 striker Pelle Hoppe scored 6 goals in 3rd Liga's Chemnizter's 1st 2 preaseason games.

-In 2BL Aue, they won 26-0 in their 1st team friendly.
    Daferner scored 5 times
Mause on trial scored 4 times
    Kruger scored 3 times

that's half their goals from the 3 young strikers.

Good start by Mause to try to get a contract.

what should help Mause too is that he can play Winger.

speaking of another striker 04-Copado barely 15 already looks taller than his ex pro dad Francisco Copado based on a recent pic of them together. I recall there was worry since his dad was only 1.7m or some put him at 1.71m. And Francisco was an ex striker too. Well could be great if Luca can grow closest possible to 1.80m.
