They ain`t buying both Neymar and Griezmann. That forward line would cost 200M per season. Albeit i would hope they do it. Financial suicide, plus it is downgrade in comparison to Neymar, Suarez, Messi.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see Neymar’s value as any more than 150 at this point and I wouldn’t pay it. 3 players (one being a French youngster with enormous upside that went for 150 two summers ago) plus 100 million seems incredibly steep.
I would laugh it off as soon as Barca would present 150M offer. Then i would respond, you payed 160M for Coutinho and expect to get Neymar for peanuts? Lolz, cmon. No sane club would sell Neymar for 150M in this market. Let alone PSG. They might as well keep him considering he is the best player in the squad - when he feels like it.
The idea of cules getting Neymar back is amusing given how much vitriol there was on his way out. But ultimately I hope it doesn’t happen.

That would be incredibly stupid just based on the 100m part. I'd trade them straight up. But Al-Clowneifi already said he only sells Neymar 220m or more. Which is stupid if he really is ready to let Neymar go ... because (1) nobody will pay that amount now (if Barca does I guess I will eat my words) and (2) once he has to knock the price down he will look even more stupid. My guess is he still hopes it works out with Neymar but feels it's time to tackle the problem with a different approach and leave it to Neymar to make the adjustment. However it's interesting to see him allude to professionalism and dedication since the only public incident that put that in question was that he left early for Brazil and didn't attend the final game. I am going to guess there is more behind the scenes. One interesting tidbit of info in his text messages to woman who accused him of rape is that he said he was drunk ... and it was Wed night. Although his season was over, I believe he was still training that week and possibly the next day. But Neymar is not know for being lazy or skip practices ... unless that has changed.

You payed 160M for Coutinho. And you want Neymar for 150M? Nuff said. The only thing stupid would be to accept absurd deals such as straight swap for an invalid, veteran and youngster who is injured every second month and is busy munching pizza at home.
Even in this market, 150 million is an enormous investment. Only 2 clubs in the world have spent that much on a single player. That rumored Barca offer is worth much more than 150 btw, that’s just a number I made up as what I believe is his worth now. I agree with you that they might as well keep him. On the pitch, Neymar brings tremendous uncertainty. A buying club would be betting their future on Neymar staying healthy for more than 2 months at a time and having his head right in pursuit of trophies instead of taunting opponents and partying.
The way I see it, PSG also overpaid for Neymar. You're gonna argue Neymar's stock hasn't fallen ? And being 2 years older ... why would he go for 200+ now ? You may think I am delusional for trying to get him for 150m, but PSG are also delusional thinking they will get what they paid for him. At the end of the day, Barca have Griezmann as an option so they'd be really stupid to pay PSGs asking price. It doesn't hurt to low ball them and see how desperate they are. Probably unrealistic but that's what I'd try if I was giving Neymar signing a shot.
How is Neymar going to play with Grizmam and Messi now? .. makes no sense to me. I would not be surprised if Flo gets in on this..and we go with a Hazard - Benz/Jovic - Neymar trident. Rodrygo and Brahim to go out on loan and Vini to come in off the bench.

Dembele probably worth 80m. Even with his problems. Still very young and full of talent. Umtiti has injury but is still 25. Probably worth 60m. Rakitic could probably get 35m at min. That's 175m. An offer of that plus 100m is absurd. I'd give Dembele + Umtiti and a bag of chips.
