    Yea. He wasn't interested in PSG in 2016 either. He seems keen to play under ZZ and now club is on board too. Imo He kept Juve option open only because RM were indecisive whether to go all out for Pogba or choose the easier option of Eriksen.

    It's always better to keep many options open (unless it's Grizou, but he's a moron).

    Anything can happen. Imagine MBappe is sold, we go for him, and therefore no money for Pogba. Then Pogba will be happy to have another option with Juve.

    I say Pogba, but it's the role of his agent.

    Everyone (minus his clients) hates his guts but Raiola's one of the best agents around.

    This all makes sense. It sounds like maybe Mbappe put in a word for Pogba and now PSG is considering offers for Neymar order to raise money to pay for Pogba.

    With Pogba they will have world class midfield and better balanced team. Make Dembele part of the Neyamr transfer and bam, remake as CL contenders.

    Dembele --- Mbappe --- Di Maria

    Pogba --- Veratti --- Ndombele

    Kurzawa---De Ligt---Marquinhos---Muenier

    Navas

    Bench: Bernat, Kimpembe, Kherer, Draxler, Cavani, Weah

    Just another day for crap AS. Kroos, Salah's agent and Ceballos have called them out for fabricating news in recent months.

    So with Dani and Marcos leaving that leaves us with Kroos, Modric, Casemiro and Valverde in midfield. Even if we add Isco to the mix, we still need two more midfielders, one of which is a DM.

    The transfer train is still chugging.

    This Neymar situation is very intriguing/interesting. I know he's a headache...but I can't help but be intrigued by the prospect of having in my opinion probably the second most talented player in the world (after Messi):

    - Do you go for Neymar now with the prospect of getting everything you can out of him for the next 3 years... keeping in mind that Mbappe is only 20 yrs old...and we can go for him later (Cristiano only got here at 25 and it was still the best transfer ever)?;

    - Do you just ignore because of the "trouble" he brings?;

    - Would he behave better here...given that let's face it...this isn't PSG....and he must know that his only chance of winning a Ballon d'Or would be at a club like Madrid?;

    - Isn't it better to drop 200m on Neymar than 100m+ on Pogba?

    - Wasn't Neymar meant to be at Madrid all along....?

    - Who can top this attack in terms of talent/depth/potential:

    Hazard / Benz/ Jovic / Neymar/ Vinicius/ Rodrygo

    - Are we overrating Mbappe? Didn't we do just fine without having Messi?

    - Won't there be a new Mbappe in a couple of years?

    - Don't we already have him (Vinicius?)

    I'm looooving this summer. So much going on!!!

    Hala Madrid.

    220M+, 70M+ gross wages, shitty character -> image / legal problems -> injuries. Plus we already invested in Hazard. Have Vin and Rodrygo as top tier Brazilian projects.

    No thanks to Neymar. Hopefully Barca is desperate enough to pull the trigger.

    Neymar's ship just sank imo. Not in a million year he should come here after all this drama, injuries, stories and players we have in his position.

    If we don't sign at least one midfielder, all this transfer activity has been for nothing. Hazard is 28, can't afford to waste a year of his time here, especially as we could have got him for free in 2020.

    Does Neymar have his EU citizenship? Cause if he doesn't, it's a non-starter.

    Read somewhere that he was going for Spanish citizenship in 2017....but no confirmation. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have it after 3 years in Barcelona.

    Hope we take a stern stance this time. Carlo better convince his owner pay up or ******** off. James already got a favour. Now it should be like Morata and Danilo. Plenty of teams can afford James wages in 2019.

    They should pay up.. the high salary issue apparently has been addressed with Adidas willing to cover 20% of his salary.

    The salary shouldn't be our problem anyway. You're so hell bent on playing for a coach that can tolerate your attitude? Then take a pay cut.

    What attitude?
    Heynkens had no issue with James and Kova did not play him much because 1. James was injured too much 2. he preferred other players with more pace 3. Thiago did not get injured this past season as much as he did the year before and 3. Muller is unbenchable.
    There is no evidence to suggest Kova had any personal issues with James.

    James wants Napoli because he wants to play in SerieA and not in England and given that Carlo is asking for him again why not.
    He also wants Juve but if they don’t contact Mendez but only CR7 does that does not really count.

    Seems like two different coaches preferred "different" players. Bayern had the deal of a lifetime and passed up on it, and the line of teams that should be lining up for him aren't. And so he goes yet again to the only coach that seems to have maximized his usage, a coach known for being extremely hands off and player friendly.

    "We have made a decision in principle in regard to James. He told me in a private meeting that he doesn't want the club to trigger the buyout clause," Rummenigge told Sport Bild and added:

    "It makes no sense under these conditions. He wants to play and be a regular starter. That's not guaranteed here. I personally regret that."

    Yes. James is not a starting player for every team/manager , we know that .. the classic 10 position is becoming obsolete in modern football but this is more of a tactical decision than personal/attitude related.
