Got mine last Fall - only setback I"ve had was because I did too much too soon. You're fit, you won't have any problems.
How did you overdo and how do you feel now? I tend to push a bit although it worked fine for my knee replacement. I can walk or trot. Ah walk well and for long periods on the level but I can't step up now without real pain. I'm seeing the quack tomorrow for my reg. checkup. I'll push it then. PM me if you like. Inquiring minds need to know
Sure! I just finished opening a 'conversation' with you on this site, see if you can see it? Is that what you mean about a PM?
If I found myself ever remembering that (Or reading Hobo's VAR rules as interpreted by Moses) I would immediately reach for Anna Karenina or the Charterhouse of Parma!
Watching Engerlands womans playing the Argies. Damn Argies play like Donkeys. 80thmin 1-0 to Engerland. Should be more but the finishing isn't good and the Argie keeper is good. It's a bit like watching the Pool playing a lower prem team. F'kin Aly Wagner. If the keeper missed that it's a goal. If the keepers punch was shorter the Argies have a chance. If the defender missed that it's a tap in. All in that warbling monotone.
My wife and daughter are off to Paris for the WWC - get to see both USA matches - should be a fun time. Hopefully my lazy ass daughter sees how hard these girls/women work and will light a fire under her to work harder when she comes back (not that I have any aspirations for her to play at that level - but she has a lot of talent that she needs to utilize much more regularly).
That's a great trip for them. Paris would be an excellent place for mum and daughter to wander about between games. Great City.
There is a big group of them including some of her teammates so it should be fun in general. They will also play 3 local youth clubs while there.
here's a rule change to keep an eye on ... god knows what "logic" is being used here. surely a red is a red is a red ??!! https://www.skysports.com/football/...es-var-handball-different-goal-kicks-and-more Yellows and reds Old law: Play may not be restarted until the referee has finished issuing a yellow or red card, if they have decided to award one. New law: If the attacking team wishes and the referee has not started to issue the card, they can take a quick free-kick at this point so long as it creates a goalscoring opportunity. The referee will then issue the card when the ball next goes out of play. However, if the referee was about to send off the player who has given away the foul for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, they will only receive a yellow card if the attacking team takes the quick free-kick. Why? IFAB say it is unfair if an attack is 'lost' to give out a yellow or red card, as quick free-kicks are already allowed if there is no card involved.
how in the name of all that is good, can that be effectively sorted out? does that mean the ball was kicked in the direction of the goal, and there were players on the kicking team who might be able to score ( eventually )???
