Well you can definitely push an owner out. If the whole club starts to push out Agnelli, he would probably resign. Just like Tavecchio did for the FIGC after so much pressure. He was basically pushed out. Elkann could also probably get involved as well.
Of course Agnelli can be fired because he is only the President not the owner. And even he acknowledge in that press conference with Max that he is accountable but I guess nobody was paying attention to that.
UFFICIALE | Maurizio Sarri è il nuovo allenatore della Juventus ➡️ https://t.co/UlTdg53to3#WelcomeSarri pic.twitter.com/pCn6boemVu— JuventusFC (@juventusfc) June 16, 2019
Its official that this management has lost the plot, what piss poor handling of this whole situation. Now its clear they just got rid of Allegri just for the sake of getting rid of him.
It's going to fine. The reason we should be confident is that he went from Napoli to Chelsea and managed silverware. How many coaches can do that?
I don't care what he's done, he isn't going to be an improvement over Allegri. What's the point of making lateral moves? It was a stupid and hasty decision to get rid of Allegri if you had no solid replacement. I refuse to believe Sarri was always first choice
Sarri got walked all over by Kepa, he's going to be a pushover to guys like Ronaldo. I don't know how I'm going to watch Juve without vomiting each week seeing Sarri on the sidelines
Marcello Lippi went from Naples to three consecutive Scudettos and CL finals, winning one. And Marcello Lippi shits all over Maurizio Sarri.
That episode alone should have made him toxic and unhirable for this job (or any other self-respecting club). This is a massive failure by this administration.
Calling it now, we won't win anything this year and Sarri gets fired (this is just wishful thinking, we'll probably win Scudetto and this guy will remain for keeping up with the status quo)
Exactly. And that was in the bloody League Cup. How is going to gain an ounce of respect from Ronaldo in the CL? What is this nonsense?!
I just read that Angelo Alessio is not following his treasonous master to Inter. He's taking the helm of Scottish side Kilmarnock, they will play in Europe this year.
Think back to how you all felt when it was announced that Allegri would be succeeding Conte. You feel any better or worse today? Allegri's resume wasn't much better than Sarri's when he took over. And neither was/is particularly liked at the time of hire by the fan base. The bottom line is that if Sarri gets the results he will win us over as Allegri did in the first season. At a minimum, I take solace in the fact that I don't need to watch the pitiful football we saw last season when it was clear that Allegri's message had worn thin.
You are deceiving ourselves if you think Allegri is getting pushed out of the day to day operations of this club, even if the club is held by Exor...and you're being foolish if you want that. He was the major driving force behind the resurrection of this club and he is ambitious about what we can achieve. How soon some forget.
I tend to agree. I hope he wasn't first choice. but....they signaled the entire second half of the season that they wanted a more attacking style of play. Sarri supposedly will bring that. We shall see, but ticy-tacy isn't always as attacking as it seems. We need more speed in attack if we are going to play like that and better players in the MF.
Probably. But we need to give him a chance and maybe he is just a placeholder till Pep or Poch walk in a year or 2.
