God knows why he joined United in the first place. To be fair, they also purchased Ibrahimovic and promised the world. They have at least 5 years of rebuilding in order to challenge for the league or Champions League title and Pogba must now see that. He needs to get out of there ASAP.

City haven't bought Felix yet...….. we are selling Benfica RDT...… could there be a little chance we might swoop in and get Felix and loan him back to them for a year. Would be pretty amazing. Just buy all the good young players since we messed up with Mbappe. Lol.

Even if we don't I will sleep well knowing we didn't sell RDT to frickin Violencia. They always dick us around and don't sell us their best players. NEVER do them any favors. Marcos in a Atleti shirt will be my personal Fyrefest tho.

Buying Felix and making Isco and Marcelo his personal chef's would be the icing on a very good summer transfer cake.

Yeah but our fringe players are on their way back (James, Kova, Odegaard) and we still haven't figured out what to do with Ceballos, Llorente, Isco, and Asensio. Then there's still who to bench out of Modric, Kroos, and Casemiro.

That's a lot of talent on the move for almost no reason.

Spending a 150ME on a midfielder shouldn't even be an option with guys like Ndombele and Lo Celso to be had for half that and freebies in house.

As promising as Felix seems to be, it'd be hard to play him even next year, let's assume that Karim starts to have a lesser role from 2020 onwards (big assumption), even then we'll have Hazard/Rodrigo-Jovic-Vin, Hazard ain't going nowhere anytime soon, and Vin and Jovic (hopefully) are here to stay, so even if Rodrigo didn't pan out, we've still got a pretty great front three for a couple of years. I don't see how we can realistically add Felix to that.

COPE says Atleti will pay 40 million for Llorente.

Nice amount of money for an academy product

I was looking for us to milk Atletico for as much as possible. If the tables were turned they’d be demanding double that for him.

€40m ain’t bad but €10m extra here and there for all the players we will sell and it all adds up.

Hate to see Llorente go to them. Yuck. Kid is talented and to me deserved more of a shot. Curious if these means Rodri is gone from Atleti for sure, or if they play together?

Like @Shay Z said I don't want to do any of these Liga clubs any favors, because they don't do any for us. RDT to Benfica would be fine.

Our forum is anal about prices, costs, etc..

Our club on the other hand is not. We give teams extra millions, we sell cheap, etc..

Still feel like Ndombele is the best midfield target out there to get. I'll be very disappointed to prioritize Pogba, a big-name who doesn't really fit a glaring need, over someone who does fill a need better but isn't nearly as flashy or from as glamorous a team.

    Messed up if true

It’s amazing that we spent 3 years trying to build a young Spanish backbone and now we’re handing our blood rival arguably the two most likely to actually make an impact. Ugh.

If it was up to me:
Price for Llorente for Atleti or Valencia: €100m
    Anyone else: €35m

We are probably accommodating both players' requests though, is what I'm guessing.

LLorente will shine at Atleti and get the well deserved recognition he's lacked thus far.

Those 3 years were wasted only because Flo decided to go against the inherent values of this club, which has always been to go after the best players in the world.
We had to hit rock bottom for him to realize his Spanish backbone idea was a complete failure.

To be fair, Spain is not quite producing impressive “backbones.” You could say there’s an epidemic of scoliosis going around

Lets not get carried away here. Guys like Vallejo, Regulion, Ceballos, and Llorente have shown potential but when the manager has no incentive to play them or in Vallejo's case injuries, its hard to prepare them to become that backbone.

We can’t built a team with unproven talent. It may work only in a best case scenario where they all turn out to become world class players but for a team like Real Madrid, that needs to win always, to keep playing them until that happens is not realistic..
And you can add Asensio to that list.
