"Major League Soccer" has the potential to be a pretty good team...a few more players needed along with a coach to whip the under-performers into shape.

The main Detroit Lions bar in Chicago gives jello shots for every Lions touchdown. Their expenses have been minimal the last few years on that particular front.
Hey, now! The Lions have averaged 20th in the NFL in TDs the last 5 years. In 2017 they were 6th in the league. The Lions have not been very successful overall but scoring is not as bad as several other teams. Just as an added note, the Lions are 42-38 over that period, a winning record albeit just barely, and made the playoffs twice. I know the rep will hang with us because of the 0-16 season and the long playoff win drought but Detroit is far from the doormat of the league these days. Lions fan since 1982!
Me too, man...Me too. Grew up in the 'burbs of Flint. There's a reason I'm so zen about the state of the USMNT right now. It's because I've seen far worse. I'm pissed at the Bears being good now not because they're a threat in the division, but because I can't see the Lions play at Soldier Field for less than $300 a ticket now.
OK, cool. I grew up a Dolphins fan in Indiana in the 60s and 70s and absolutely hated the Bears since they were terrible but were on TV in Indianapolis every week. In the fall of 1981 I saw Eric Hipple crush the Bears on Monday Night Football and I was intrigued. I moved to southwest Michigan in 1982, discovered a whole bunch of Bears-haters, and became a Lions fan for life. I moved to Houston in 2002 but I still watch the Lions every week.
I watched an Ohio State game against Wisconsin a few years ago at a B-Dub’s. A couple college-aged kids sat next to me and got friendly. We decided we were going to do a shot every time OSU got a touchdown. Well, THEY decided. I grudgingly went along, because Wisconsin was pretty good defensively. By the time they hit 40, I didn’t know whether to pick my watch or wind my ass. Thank God they left after the third quarter.
LOL. Try losing 4 straights Super Bowls followed by 17 seasons without playoffs. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2018/01/bu...cincinnati-bengals-toucdown-tyler-boyd-videos
