Sven had his success very early on in his career but he will be remembered for having arguably the best English generation of all time in TWO back to back world cups and amounting to nothing. Tata conquered the Paraguayan league with ease winning multiple championships right away (hate on it all you want, it was a stepping stone), took Paraguay to the quarterfinals of a World Cup, was worthy enough to catch the eye of Lionel messi’s Barcelona, had Argentina playing like a world power should always play, then came to the MLS and won it with ease. He’s a winner. He adapts in stranger territory.
Not to mention he also won a league title in Argentina and took Paraguay to the Copa América final in 2011. I guess we are his true test. Lord knows we’re cursed.
Know what separates Tata from “tacticians” like Lavolpe or Osorio? He doesn’t experiment like a madman in friendlies. Given, Lavolpe and Osorios teams played great football at one point or another but their friendlies were painful to watch. Especially Lavolpe. “Proceso” doesn’t seem to be in Tata’s vocabulary.
Also took a relegation bound newells to the semi finals of the CL. That England generation was overrated much like anything England related tho
@Serg33 is right. I weep for what these dudes choosing club over country have turned BSMX into. This is not the site that I signed up for. And they're willfully ignorant which makes it even more pathetic. I just don't see what their endgame is? Is it to get a few cheap worthless internet points from their fellow antis? Is their dignity that easy to buy? They should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt they have any shame left going by their asinine posts.
