I went but the only things I saw which would fit me were keeper jerseys. Prices were ok and if you're a Medium, there's quite a bit of stuff available.
Yes, it's team gear. Some actually game worn, other stuff is spare for current players or former players. There's also lots of blank jerseys, t-shirts, raingear, polos, training gear, cleats, balls, etc.
Got it. Quakes do something similar during their annual WinterFest, the highlight of which is kids playing in fake snow -- because California.
I don't believe it's been post-season for a few years. They used to do it then, but took a year off...when it came back, it was mid-season. This makes sense, as they obviously have all the stuff they need. Post-season was tricky since they didn't know what they'd need for the next preseason.
Here's a link to ride the bus up to Cleveland for the USMNT match. This link is bus only. Tickets are bought on your own. https://nordecke.com/product/cleve/
And even if you call USSF/FO/TM/someone, that's no guarantee about anything. A lot of bands are moving to mobile-only at least for fan clubs, but even then, they'll say "if you don't have a smartphone, email us and we'll get it sorted." If they're really worried about scalpers, I'm surprised USSF didn't consider paperless, where you show your credit card and they print a receipt with your seat location. It could be because this is a CONCACAF event, but this game has a "mail my tickets" option.
USMNT did mobile only for the World Cup qualifier against Honduras at Avaya, but they printed my ticket for me the day of the game. (Same for DC United game at Audi Field this past weekend.) I would call US Soccer or even your Crew ticket rep (if they are involved in hosting, via the Browns) to find out if this is still possible. I bet it is. Getting my paper tickets for "mobile only" at Audi Field two hours before the game last Saturday.
When it gets to be too much of a bother, I'm going to assume that they really do not want my business....
I’m in Phoenix for a conference. My sister (who lives out here) and I went to the Phoenix Rising USL match tonight. Got to see former Crew player Adam Jahn get a goal and an assist in a 5-0 rout of the Tulsa Rednecks, er, um, I mean Roughnecks. The fans we were sitting near seemed reasonably knowledgeable, FWIW.
As part of the transition to Bruce Arena as head coach, New England interim coach Mike Lapper has left the team.
Not surprising.... The question is was it "left" or "asked to leave"? Don't get me wrong. I like Mike--he's a good guy and I think a decent coach. But that usually happens when the new guy takes over.
That discussion was in the mega #SaveTheCrew thread. In between the pizza and best place to urinate in public discussions. Or maybe that was at dinner tonight?
Hold on. Are you talking about discussions about where to urinate in public? Or are you talking about urinating in the middle of public discussions?
Well done sir. My post lacked clarity and while I meant the former question, I prefer the meaning described by the latter question.
