He was not playing on the wing but he was playing on the left of center.

Yeah, and man, it was a rough game for him. You could see his expressions, he was pissed at himself, and he was right to be. Awful game from everyone on the field last night, but too many times when he'd try to spring this pinpoint pass 20 yards up the field when he just needed to slow things down a bit and keep the possession going.

He had lots of company. Only saw second half, but Sargent appeared to be the only one capable of threatening the goal.

And even he was kinda "meh" out there. I'm disappointed not to see what he can do in the Gold Cup, but not sure the full freakout mode that MNT social media is going through is all that warranted for a guy who's still an untested prospect trying to get minutes at his club.

Katai enters for Serbia in the 88th minute and registers an assist in the 4-1 over Lithuania today.

Frankowski started last game for Poland -- subbed at halftime, did not play today

It's only Lithuania, but I still firmly believe that Katai is one of the best players in this league. For whatever reason he just doesn't consistently show that.

    Yes and no
Puano is some if it , but Katai had a track record of underperforming prior to his Fire career.
Don't get me wrong , I Like him as a player and he's probably my favorite to watch on this current lineup ( Gaitan is overtaking him). There's just something that knocks him off his focus for stretches .

FYP, anything more than $1, he's overpaid.

I thought Giatian was a TAM player, he's making 2.2 million, I thought anything over 1.5 million you can't be a TAM player.

Yes, that is strange about Gaitan and I thought the same thing.
I am sure there are some shenanigans going on with his contract.

Our Portuguese central defender, who has started nine of ten games he has played and we still have no idea if he is any good or not (and I am leaning towards "not").

yep. this is what happens when MLS assigns you their caretaker GM and he has no fvcking clue what he's doing.

Hope our new partial owner notices this before I become a Cincinnatti fan.
