Llanez has been more productive in one minute than both our starting wingers the entire match. The power of fresh legs (and KDLF has been pretty tepid in this tourney, while Weah has displayed poor stamina).

Llanez playing with hunger. Please let it be contagious.

He reached for a card there and didn't pull it because 12 was already on a card.

That had to be a card on someone.

Do we not have, at any level a free kick taker that actually understands that if you miss the goal, no matter how pretty the shot is, you cannot score.

Our free kicks are about as good as our possession under pressure in this match.

Or because 12 didn't commit the foul. Waad gets the card.

It will be pretty unfortunate if he scores and we have to put one in our own net to restore parity.

If we tried, we'd probably miss.

Painful to watch 3/4 of this team. Zero cohesion and no passion at all.

Very talented individual players, but they seem to be, for the most part, playing for themselves.

Does Tab think there's extra time today or something? Only using one sub with this performance is insane.

This Qatar team has nothing. Guess we're just trying to avoid France.

which is odd given that in the first two games they appeared to have a very good team spirit and were playing some pretty soccer at times passing wise.

    False.

~5-10 minutes ago before the Llanez sub, he drew 3 fouls and had 5 touches to hold the ball up off of long balls.

qatar with that 4-5-1 on defense has done a good job of preventing any central attacking but the wings are wide open, why not send a runner into space to pick up the short pass from the wing?

The US "style": Meaningless passes around the back followed by screwing up any real forward motion.
