Those Nigeria kits aren't half bad.

Right now the US is finding pockets of space when they beat the press. Having the ball and moving it diagonal and crossing. Near goal minutes ago by Soto.

I think this U20 side moves the ball better than our senior team.

Mendez has been nuts on the ball so far.

De La Puente with a yellow for a non-foul. He is the focal point of the attack right now. Wish he would play a bit more direct.

Nigeria not really in the game yet. US dominating.

Sigh, Mendez is going to hit one of those before this tournament is over

Mendez with a nice shot on goal that is deflected onto the crossbar. US is owning that right side of the pitch. Nigeria will need to adjust. Expect a heavy foul on DLP soon.

LETS GO, SOTO 1-0. Mendez if firing on all cylinders, and Soto shows Tab why you play him.

Credit where credit is due. US passing around Nigeria. Looking professional. Nigera not responding at all. Corner finds soto wide open at the back post. 1-0 USA

Great stuff! Awful defending but I loved that drilled corner. was that Mendez who hit it?

Don't watch Dallas, but Pomykal looks really cool. Really wants to be on the ball. That pass to Konrad was sweet.

Ref with another non-existent foul all when Soto would've had the ball in the box.

One of the things I hate about soccer in general is how defenders get bailed out ALL THE TIME. Make em earn it just like the forwards must. They just turn around, shield the ball, stand there, fall down, then get a foul called.

    Mendez is ridiculous

Weah breaks on the left. 1 v 1 on goal and shoots it at the ONE goal keeper.

Have to do better than that.

Yep, needs to be finished though. 1-0 with our defensive issues ain't good. Makes me think back to the U17s running Mexico off the field then losing anyways.
