I'm guessing this required minimum effort on Kraft's part. Probably knew Friedel had to go and asked who is available and someone said Bruce. Just too much history there for me to imagine a world where Kraft really gives a crap about the Revs.

His first start of the season and he comes out and scores 4 goals. Very, very impressive, especially for a 36yo who wasn't very athletic in his prime. His superpower is his finishing IQ - he's just mentally a step ahead of the players trying to defend him.

Forgot about that. I remember thinking that was totally out of character for a player that’s really well liked. The gum chewing drives me NUTS though. How he hasn’t swallowed a pound of gum I don’t know.
My son Tim crossed paths with Wondo on a couple occasions. They both played at Chico State and for the USL Chico Rooks, albeit at different times. He says Wondo seemed like a class act - a very hard working but still humble guy. That's certainly the impression I've gotten watching him play. The fact he talked trash in the heat of a game doesn't bother me, especially since we have no idea of what lead up to it.
I'm sure Chris Wondolowski's an okay guy and I wasn't trying to imply otherwise. But he plays for a hated rival and he toppled Donovan's record, so !@#$% him. I can't really bring myself to be "happy" for him, just like I wouldn't be happy if Carlos Vela broke the assist record 5 years from now or something (although, I'm sure he's a fine person, personally). That's just my opinion, though.
Very impressive record for Wondolowski - and 4 goals! Wow. I'm Landon till I die, but records can't stand forever, or in this case, for very long.
I understand and respect the loyalty aspect, sorta. I see opponents as players I want to crush on the field but mostly just regular people otherwise. But since I live 5 miles from Duke and 15 miles from UNC I'm pretty familiar with the !&*%*$ the other team viewpoint! I have otherwise normal friends at work who will go on 45 minute tirades if you mention Coach K. I think some are convinced he trims his tail and horns in secrecy.

I don’t know if there are any NBA fans here but Toronto, Kawahi and Lowry showed major heart, coming back from deficits game after game. Great series. Ok, back to your regular programming.
