Indoor know whatnot want more ... Bale to collect his paycheck in Madrid’s bench thinking aboutnhis golf game or them signing Pogba
We never blew a lead aganst Juve. We just got beaten badly. Like Liverpool aganst Madrid last season, or against Basel before that.
Two very good signings by Borussia Dortmund. 26 year old attacking midfielder Thorgan Hazard (Eden's younger brother) joins from Borussia Mönchengladbach for €25.5m. Winger Julian Brandt (23) arrives from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported fee of €25m. Both are signed until 2024. Dortmund going the route of Bayern Munich by taking other teams' good players.
Bayern often get players from other German clubs, weakening their domestic rivals. Other (elite) clubs mainly go for players outside their domestic league... or, at least moreso than Bayern does.
Even LPB with all their CL titles, have been eliminated like 40-50 times from CL. You're talking about 3 bad nights? First positive post you've made in weeks...
I'll help you and TitaTata (if he's still watching) out. Bayern Munich 2013 first leg (they actually began well in the second leg but when Bayern scored all hope was lost)... Chelsea 2012 second leg... Inter 2010 first leg... Liverpool 2007 first leg... LPB 2002 first leg... Valencia 2000 first leg... Milan 1994 final... CSKA Moscow 1993 second leg... Steaua 1986 final... That's as far back as I've followed the team in the big ears competition. I can also list those from the Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup and Copa del Rey if need be. Dundee United 1987 second leg... Getafe 2007 second leg... Sevilla 2010 first leg... LPB 2011 and 2014 finals... I can go on and on. ANY time Barca are knocked out of a cup tournament is a night of horror for me. One bad night in a given season is all it takes for cup elimination. That's why I value the consistency of La Liga the most.
That's why treble is very rare occurance. Any team can top the league by large margin but gets knocked out in CL or losing a final just because one bad performance. Although Valverde's team losing in same fashion for 2 straight seasons means he just cant install that winning mentallity like Pep or Lucho did. RM isnt always in good shape in the league but you cant denied they're mentally strong in CL in previous few seasons. They even won CL when they're 3rd on La liga table, so CL obviously isnt about consistency.
It just shows that you are one of those indifferent so called fans who would be satisfied with a relegation. You've been around too long to care really.
You're confusing me with @TitoTata who prioritizes beautiful futbol over results. How many more times must I mention my valuing the consistency of La Liga being the priority? You final sentence, however, is accurate in regards to this forum.
Dodgy source but shows the kind of person Pep is if it turns out to be true. Pathetic! Pep Guardiola to Juve done deal, presentation set for 14/06 - AGIhttps://t.co/gYkG9hIeW4 pic.twitter.com/MuMsKfYo04— AS USA (@English_AS) May 24, 2019
If true, I thought he would stay at Shitty longer. Maybe he wants to go out of England on top (domestically). A thought I've had: say Argentina wins the Copa America this summer. Who has a better chance to win the Ballon d'Or this year, or who will place higher? Kun or Messi? Kun - Domestic treble (Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield/league super cup, CL quarterfinals/last eight, 4th in league goals behind the three tied for 1st, 1 league Player of the Month, 3 league hat-tricks) Messi - (La Liga, Copa, Supercopa, CL semis/last four, Liga top scorer, Liga top assister, CL top scorer, European top scorer, 2 Liga Player of the Month, 3 league hat-tricks)
No goals for Mbappe through the first 45 minutes in Reims. In fact, Reims outplaying PSG by quite a bit. Messi's Golden Shoe looks safe.
