Amen to this, the type of CB people want would never accept being 4th choice, and Outside of this disastrous year Nacho has been somewhat reliable and It’s not far fetched to think his form could improve next season.

The past two years he was 3rd. Vallejo never really factored in.

Any minute that is available at center back when Varane/Ramos are unavailable will go to Militao. He will probably log over 2k minutes easily.

I would start him. ******** it.

Varane should be the one to work his way back into the team

Yeah I'm good with this if Eriksen is coming the other way.

That may be a perfect fit for Ceballos.

That's a good deal for all the parties. Tottenham is the only one who isn't upgrading their situation but that's because they remain a club that can easily be upgraded from (unlike City, Chelsea, etc.) but they still get a capable replacement.

Hopefully he doesn't fail in his mission and dissappear into nothingness.

If I had to bet the house I’d say Mbappe will be here one day. But cross that bridge when we get there because it isn’t going to be this summer. So until then, who cares what Mbappe does really.

You do, if your house is riding on it.

From what I remember Hermoso said he has no intention being the 4th CB here. So keeping Nacho isn't the worst thing. What I would have done is sign a young prospect CB, someone who doesn't cost too much and can learn and mature with us getting CdR mins and emergency CB mins.

Oh well...……. so our CB group is set. No need to waste time discussing any BS rumors about Ramos to United or De Ligt to Real Madrid etc.

    Do we tho? I don't.

I don't think we will go scorched earth like we used to. I don't think we can. This BS about having 600M to spend is nonsense. The renewal of Kroos should be a clear sign that there will be no revolution.

We are being bent over for frickin Jovic…….. imagine what Levy is going to do when we ask for Eriksen or what Riaola and United are gonna ask for their star. It's troubling to see. Anything over 70M for Jovic would be...……….. not ideal. People say Felix is worth 120M. Unreal man.
Jovic is a good young player but almost 100M for him is not really a fair price. Especially as he will not be a starter.

We can improve without making splash signings but considering we might pay top dollar for players who won't put us over the top next season is disheartening at the moment. Hopefully these reports are not true. Unless we sign impact players to compliment the ones we have we would have taken a small step forward when we need a big step (or 2) forward. We cannot be the same in the transfer market as we have been recently.

But as fans we should realize it's not easy to turn a team around. Not easy to stop the losing and get back to winning. It takes time and smart decisions.

600 ME part is in the hypothetical scenario of signing Mbappe though. He could cost 300-350 ME in this market with multiple clubs willing to pay due to his age. PSG won't sell though. I was thinking if they sell him in 2021 with a year left, clubs would be willing to pay 200 ME given Hazard right now will cost 100 ME+.

I still don't see PSG allowing his contract to wind down to a year left. Mbappe has to be prepared for things to get very toxic in Paris if he ever hopes to leave.

The newspaper even started calling Nasser Al-Khelaifi Mbappe's dad. Mbappe will neveer join us because he is considering him as his dad.

I expect Modric to take a lesser role next season. He's a valuable player to have on the bench.

    I hope.
