We should probably give him a raise too, because he's such a nice guy.

Didn't realise you were so sensitive to criticism of Ed ;)

No need to be offended it is just a report carried by a number of paps with all that that implies, you can take it or leave it - it wont hurt you :p

According to Paul Hirst of the times Conte will be in for Lukaku once he takes over Inter.

Ideally we would recoup the £75 million we paid for him but I don’t think Inter has that kind of money.

    ******** Ed Woodward.

What bothers me the most is you continually posting rubbish sources with rubbish stories.

Also just because the independent ran with it, doesnt mean anything. There have been plenty of other big news outlets caught up sourcing rags. Wont be first or last.

This ones for @Sofabloke. Madrid and Zidane hoped Woody would come in and over pay for Bale. The entire football world knows how shit he is at his job.

    :ROFLMAO:

If UK sources like Metro, Independent & Manchester Evening News (although all dubious like all uk paps) dont meet your journalistic standards and bother your sensitivities, then maybe the summer transfer thread is something you should avoid.

There is never much fact here, only speculation and ultimately disappointment and pain .... :)

Accepting that the Metro, MEN and other such sources are dubious is a given in the transfer thread. But you expect some base level of intelligence and judgement when then commenting on a story. I say you, I mean we.

The difference here is knowledgeable posters and forum veterans dont usually engage in this childish behavior.

Its not about the media, journalists etc its about your decision to be petty.

Then make a case and disagree .... or just pile-on :)

Ed has a history of low-balling and it costing us IMO. I hope the story on AWB is guff and we make the deal and get his and others signings done quickly - as Ole says he wants the signings done by 1 July - so we get a proper pre-season.

We’ll see how signings such as AWB pan-out soon. I genuinely hope he gets things done next 6 weeks.

Would take having some sanity next season from an improved squad over a minor win in a petty squabble :)

Then you really are shit out of luck.

Have more self respect than this. We're all pissed off at Ed but using obviously false rumours and hopeless logic to keep an anti-Woodward meltdown going across multiple threads is moronic.

It may be a false story, most of the stuff printed is :)

If you are sensitive to criticism of Ed, then fine. If you dont want to discuss/debate, fine also. Didnt intend to upset you.

Alright, time to curb this bullshit early since this summer is sure to be a mess anyway. Manchester Evening News are a garbage source that know nothing. Posting their shit here is a waste of everyone's time.

I saw this in the reddevils reddit and its a pretty good list of what sources are reliable. Learn in, live it, love it, and dont post shit from Tier 5 and probably Tier 4 as well.

    Tier 0 (Undisputed, Official Sources): @ManUtd / manutd.com

Tier 1 (Highest Quality Sources): Simon Stone (BBC) / Sport1 (Germany) / Henry Winter (The Times Chief of Football) / Mohamed Bouhafsi (France) / Fabrizio Romano (Guardian) / Paul Joyce (The Times/Liverpool/Everton) / David Ornstein (BBC/Arsenal) / Craig Norwood (Club Photographer) / Kristof Terreur (The Guardian) / Gianluca Di Marzio (Italians only, Tier 2 if not) / Simon Peach (Press Association)

Tier 2 (Proven to have current sources): Bild (Germany/Bavaria) / Der Westen (Germany/Schalke/Gladbach/Dortmund) / Kicker (Germany) / De Telegraaf (Netherlands) / COPE (Spain) / Raphael Honigstein (Germany Freelancer/Guardian German News) / Voetbal International (Netherlands) / Matt Law (Telegraph/Chelsea) / Andy Burton (Sky Sports) / Caderna SER (Spain) / O Jogo (Portugal) / James Cooper (Sky Sports) / RMC Sport (France) / BBC (United Kingdom)

Tier 3 (Average reliability, or former Tier 2): Canal+/Pierre Menes (France) / Jamie Jackson (Guardian) / Ian Ladyman (Daily Mail) / The Telegraph / The Guardian / The Times / Mark Ogden(ESPN) / Daniel Taylor (Guardian) / Correio de Manha (Portugal) / Ruhr Nachrichten (Germany) / Le Parisien (France) / Ian Herbert (Independent) / Jason Burt (Telegraph) / Record (Portugal) / A Bola (Portugal) / Richard Keys (beIN Sports) / Jim White (Everton only) / L'Equipe (France) / Paul Hirst(The Times) / James Ducker (the Telegraph) / Rob Dawson (ESPN)

Tier 4 (Indirect sources, low reliability): BildSport (Germany) / Tuttomercatoweb (Italy) / Sport (Spain) / Goal.com / Guillem Balague (Sky Sports/Freelance) / Stuart Mathieson (MEN) / The Independent / Mundo Deportivo (Spain) / Marca (Spain/Real Madrid) / AS (Spain/Real Madrid) / Talksport (UK & Ireland) / Sky Sports / Kaveh Solhekol (Sky Sports) / Stephen Howson (FullTimeDevils) / Paris/Euro United (France/PSG) / Simon Mullock (Mirror) / London Evening Standard / Daily Mail / The Mirror / John Cross (The Mirror) / Steve Bates (Mirror) / Duncan Castles (Record/Times) / CalcioMercato (Italy) / El Chiringuito (Unless J. Sanchez, then T1)

Tier 5 (Aggregators, Known Shitposters and Banned sources): Peter O'Rouke (Freelance) / Tancredi Palmieri (Freelance/Bullshit merchant) / Metro (banned - utter shit) / Express (banned - redditwide ban due to vote manipulation) / The Sun (Banned - for being the Sun) / Diario Gol (Spain) / Daily Star (Go there for tits, not news) / CaughtOffside (Aggregates, but poses the news as its own) / Don Balon (Spain) / Samuel Luckhurst (M.E.N - Shit-stirring bellend.) / Squawka (Vote Manipulation) / Sport/LAD Bible(Clickbait merchants/Content thieves) / Joe.co.uk (Shit memes and even worse transfer content) / 90min.com / Andy Mitten (Transfer News) / Miguel Delaney (Transfer News Only) / ESPN (except for articles by Delaney, Mitten, Dawson and Ogden) / Manchester Evening News / Sport Witness(aggregator) / Newsnow (aggregator) /@CheGiaevara (aggregator) / GFFN (France/aggregator) / Here is the City (Aggregator) / Bleacher Report(Aggregator) / 90 min.com (Aggregator)/ All Other Aggregators / Football365 (Transfer News) / SportsMole (Shit source)

Tier IndyKaila: Known ****************. Knows less than everyone on this forum.

Wasn't intended to be serious - that is why the 'offered to sign' was in quotes as he is an ageing crock :)

We have supposedly signed 16 year old Dillon Hoogewerf. Either footed attacker who can play each of front three roles apparently.

Would post some sources, but they are all on the banned list :)

Confirmation he is leaving from Ajax.

    Translation:
Saïd Ouaali: "Ultimately, he can make the choice, and he chooses a foreign adventure"

    Success in the future, Dillon!
