Strong disagree. I like Porco Rosso, but I don't think I'd put it anywhere near the top Totoro, Ponyo, Mononoke, and Nausicaa are probably the best ones...I used to like Howl's a lot more, but I like it less and less each time. You can tell its not a true Miyazaki story
Disagree. It was an incredibly difficult show to end. So many characters and plot lines. I give it a solid A- and I think it'll be looked upon positively in the long run. Not unlike the Sopranos ending.
Two things Looking at the entire season 8 as the "Finale", I agree. Looking at just the last episode, it was rushed, yet slow moving, a lot was happening, yet it was not very dramatic.
John Kills Daneyrs. Arya shape shifts and assumes her identity. She names John King of the North and sends him away. She writes into her will he is to take over for her. She unexpectedly dies in her sleep. John succeeds her Bran as hand. Tyrion goes back to a secondary advisory role
I think when this shift is ********ing over I'm gonna do an entire series binge of GOT before cancelling HBO now.
I agree - I'd call it satisfying, but not great. I thought they threaded the needle nicely by avoiding almost all the fan theory endings while staying in the realm of plot-reasonable resolutions.
Here's something actually pretty good with Kit Harrington. I was forced to watch that Pompeii movie on a plane and I'm still angry.
Vicelands "Dark Side of the Ring." Documentaries about professional wrestling in the 1980's and 1990's. Watched the one about Bruiser Brody's murder, the incredibly sad story of the Von Erichs and the "Montreal Screwjob." Waiting to watch about the ridiculous life and death of Gino Hernandez.
Cinderella Nine, which is like Princess Nine, but not at all. Girls' baseball team, no one knows how to play except for the two elite players who teach everyone to believe in themselves. I don't know why I'm into this stuff, I just am.
