Trippier's really not that good. Poch molded him into something that he never would've reached otherwise and I wouldn't trust him away from Mauricio. On top of that, he's had a poor season overall, imo. He's an excellent crosser of the ball and set-piece specialist, but that's about it - seriously. They're willing to let him go for a reason. Don't do it.
Outside of some England games and spurs in the CL, I haven't seen much of Trippier. So I'll take your word for it. I know that he's a player that Ancelotti requested specifically and that Man U and Juve have also inquired about him. If I'm being optimistic, maybe Serie A is a league that better suits his qualities. Who knows. To me, the biggest problem is the price tag. 35 million is obscene for a player already on the wrong side of his 20's. Hysaj is clumsy, mistake prone and can't cross to save his life. They say that Hysaj only played well under Sarri, but even under Sarri he wasn't great.
is this really happening? https://app.football-italia.net/#article/footballitalia-138272&menu=news-all
Will not happen. He would really fix our right side but we will not make this squad older and spend 30 plus million for a 31 year old.
Atalanta is in a good financial position to ask for 30mil. They clearly don't want to sell him unless it's an offer they can't pass up. I'm thinking Inglese or Tonelli can sweeten the deal
Also players who are on loan who we can make a little money off of, or at the very least get them off the books. Grassi, Inglese, Sepe, Tonelli and Rog. Won't be making a lot but if we somehow even made 20-40mil it would be amazing for the club. I know some players are being rumoured for 20+mil alone (Like Inglese) but I'm positive that's just transfer gossip by someone in the Napoli camp to try and build their prices.
Agree. Ounas hopefully makes 10M too. He should be number one priority for leaving. Never liked the guy.
I think he had a lot of potential, his speeds and dribbling ability is very good especially for his age but his decision making has not improved and that's what his downfall has been
Ilıcıc and Castagne to Napoli are done deal. Sarri is so close to Juve.He left us for money and coming back for our biggest rival at the very moment. He never liked Naples imo. fckin hipster
Guys I know this isn't the news thread, but it seems most active - I'm writing a large piece on Koulibably's struggles and inaction by the FIGC, and wanted your opinions/angles you think I should cover or drum up. Thank you
Who says Atalanta will sell? Sarri and Juve are just rumours and he did not leave us but was fired. Anyway Sarri loves PL and if Chelsea keep him he will stay
