He's a work in progress but I like what I see more and more.

As for Lovitz/Ream, their role should be on the bench.

I agree that Ream and Lovitz shouldn't be playing but I meant that he should play that LB/CB role that they have played in the past.

He had a stronger second half as he was good in his tackles and one v. one defending and he was by far the best Swansea defender in the game and arguably their best player in the entire game. He also hit the crossbar on a header that was by far their best chance of the game, but I don't think he could of done much better with how contested it was. He was scored the highest out of all of the Swansea players on whoscored with a 6.35

Top 10 in the table, but not really close to making a playoff push. Still, a very good loan experience for CCV.

Yes, i definitely feel like this was a good loan for a 21 year old centerback. He really got a full season with the same team, earned his way to being a starter for a large part of the season. Good to see him get this many games and to earn a starting position. Swansea provided some decent competition for him, both within the squad and in the Championship.

This is complete speculation, but I wonder if as part of a Sessegnon deal, Fulham would be interested in getting CCV coming the other way either on loan or a permanent transfer. They've had Central Defense issues and at this point CCV is a proven Championship level defender with Premier League upside. Would be a perfect move for a just relegated team that wants to bounce back.

Fulham needs to establish a better core, rather than rely on loanees if it wants to stay up if/when it gets promoted next.

I would like it. CCV honestly screams Fulham player to me. Would allow him to stay in London, etc.

He's got two years left on his contract so a loan is more likely. By next summer the Spuds will have a better idea of his value.

Sure, but the idea is I'd imagine Fulham and Tottenham are going to be a little away from each other on the valuation of Sessegnon.

The idea of including CCV in the deal might be a win-win for Fulham. You get around the same amount of money plus a young defender at a position of need that you own that could in theory make the leap up with you to the Premier league, without requiring the financial splurge they needed this past offseason.

How many 21 year old (or younger) CBs are standouts in the Championship? The logical next step for a player with that profile is a move up not laterally.....

Considering CCV did very well this season with Swansea...I expect he won't have to play next year in the Championship.....

Agree that Spurs really can’t know yet exactly what they have with Cameron. I think a BL1 loan would be best next move, but we will see.

I always doubt he's going to the Bundesliga since he's English. Gimme a loan to a newly promoted Premier League side and I'm ecstatic. Unfortunately, I doubt Sheffield United want him back after kicking him out halfway through his last loan.

He's from England, and players from England rarely leave for other European leagues, especially on the continent. Of all Englishmen, CCV is tied at 269th in value. If he was in Germany, he'd be tied for 12th of all Englishmen on the continent. It's just not a popular thing, and really has only become popularized by Sancho tearing it up at Dortmund.

    Right.

Not sure what the value has to do with it nor the bit about him being English.

    Still. Well done.

Anyway. Brighton might be a destination seeing as the Swansea manager went there.

He's English. English players rarely go on loan to the Bundesliga, so it's not really a thing that you can look forward to or expect, even if it would be a good move.

I'm not sure how else it can be explained more clearly.
