Better to keep Under and let the team grow.

Would order it if we would only sell anyone who can’t be relied upon to contribute going forward but if the choice was between selling a young Italian who could consider a career in Rome or selling Under who sooner or later want a move abroad I’d rather sell Under

He'd fit their transfer model/profile, for sure.

I was under the assumption Spurs would have another summer of being frugal, but with their CL run, they might splash a little bit now. Levy runs a tight ship though, so who knows. They've also been pretty heavily linked to Joachim Andersen.

That said, I'd hate to see the kid leave so early, and I honestly think Roma's the perfect place for him at this point in his career.

Maybe it's just my heart talking, but I honestly don't expect us to sell him this summer. Doesn't make a ton of sense, for me.

I love clubs that are fiscally responsible and win by being a well run club. Howerver, Pochettino has earned the benefit of the doubt here and they really should splash some cash in the market this summer.

Yeah, I just dug into it a little deeper. I'm pretty sure they will. Eriksen's only got a year left on his deal and Alderweireld has a 25m release clause too, so it's possible they sell some key guys despite their CL run. Trippier's oddly rumored to be going to Napoli for a silly fee (imo) as well.

Paying off the stadium is obviously a burden, though. That's really the heart of the matter. For me, they need to address their CM position. No idea how Poch made a CL final with only Sissoko, Dier, Wanyama, Winks et al.

I'm sure all this Spurs talk is super entertaining for everyone. Maybe I should just make a separate transfer thread for the rest of Europe? Might just end up being me talking to myself, but I love transfer season.

    Thanks, Dad.

I was thinking of something a little different than the bashing Liverpool thread.

Lamela plus 60m, at very least.

This team need rebuild, we need cash.
Wouldnt be a bad thing if a sick offer comes to Zanni.
(Did I say the same on Allison last year tho? Well at least Monchi isn't here anymore)

I think Roma should not go all crazy in the transfer market. The team has been going through so much change and became disoriented.

They should evaluate the loaned out players and see who to keep for next season. Luca Pellegrini and Defrel should get a chance at least as sub players.

Olsen should be gone and either buy a starter GK or bring in Fuzato as backup GK to Mirante.

For defense another CB as backup is needed. But it depends on who is going to coach. If the defense is going to play deep then Fazio showed he is a capable defender. If not then we need a starter CB.

The midfield is the main issue. Pellegrini, Cristante and Nzonzi has been really inconsistent although the first 2 showed a lot of potential. The team needs someone to fill in De Rossi's shoes. A youngster that can take over when he is out.

SES, Perrotti, Kluivert and Under should all stay. Dzeko should be sold. He is slow and shows no interest in playing. Defrel can fill his place. As for Schick I am still undecided whether he is worth the money spent on or not. He is skillful but he lacks the correct positioning.

So must sell are Dzeko and Olsen. Must buy a defender, a midfielder or two and maybe another striker.

Is there anything wrong with that? Also, we won’t have to worry about those cucks once Poch ends them on June 1st.

Nah, I don't care. Y'all do whatever you want. I just wanna nerd out on transfer rumors and talk about a bunch of different clubs, that's all.

    That works.

Only problem with Navas is he takes up a non-EU slot, right?

    Must go:
    Dzeko, Olsen

    Can move on without harm:
    - Nzonzi (if we can cash in for Tonali or someone young but good)
    - Cristante (if a good offer comes)
    - Zaniolo (if a monster offer comes)
    - Santon
    - Defrel
    - Schick
    - Perotti
    - Kolarov

I don't know if I would get rid of Kolarov. I'd rather bring back Luca P and have him rotate with Kolarov for a year.

That thread will be solely for needing out over transfers once CL ends. I can assure you of that.

So much is dependent on who our next manager is too. Tough to speculate on who we should get rid of when we have no idea what style of football we'll be playing.
