Any clues? 1123935669431296004 is not a valid tweet id This American boy is currently training at top-ranked Dinamo Zagreb youth club in Croatia. He trusts the fit and grip of RG gloves everywhere soccer takes him!
I asked the people who posted it and they replied they don't reveal the names of minors. Though I guess they are okay with using their photographs in advertisements.
Instat lists Oxford City's Jack Stevens as English-American but I can't find any confirmation anywhere else.
Jorge Dominguez This player at Tijuana is listed in the official website as being born in Mexico, but it appears from this profile that he was raised in California. Liga MX profile: http://sub15.ligamx.net/cancha/jugador/117696/jorge-jose-dominguez-luna Club article: http://xolos.com.mx/noticias/xoloit...orge-dominguez-continues-chasing-a-dream.html Dominguez was navigating through the socials, a typical day in his home in Victorville, Calif. He was a skinny 9-year-old growing up thinking about someday becoming a professional soccer player. He’s a bit closer in 2019. The midfielder is part of Club Tijuana’s Under-15 that hosts Club Leon in the LIGA MX semifinals Saturday at Estadio Caliente. Dominguez has been part of the Under-15 team since the 2017 Apertura season coming up from the club’s Under-13 squad. But it was a tryout in the United States that helped lead that skinny kid from Ensenada, living in California, to the Xoloitzcuintles.
This seems like it could be him, from the club's American academy . http://www.xolosacademy.com/xoloitzcuintles-under-12-scores-plenty
It is not : / It's a site where teams can send in their video and get stat analysis. Pretty popular with pro clubs. Most colleges have it too. It's a paid service. I'm not sure how accurate their nationality listing is, as I've seen a number of players listed with dual citizenship but confirmed nowhere else. So just thought I'd throw it out there.
T'Markt says there's an American '99 named Bryant Baidoo at Czech second-division club Taborsko: https://www.transfermarkt.de/bryant-baidoo/profil/spieler/660478 That would seem to be this second-teamer named, on the club site, Baidoo Kwamina, listed as Ghanaian: https://www.fctaborsko.cz/hrac/baidoo-kwamina It would also seem to be this guy, who lists himself as Ghanaian and American on Instagram, with the name "Bryant Baidoo." https://www.instagram.com/bryant_quamina/ A recruiting website suggests he's from Massachusetts. It also names a school that's in Ghana. https://www.ncsasports.org/mens-soc...al/cape-coast/adisadel-college/bryant--baidoo On Facebook a guy with this name is from Philly. https://www.facebook.com/bryant.baidoo
I moved this from the catchall thread: One to keep an eye on: Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.I’m happy to announce that I have received a professional contract offer in Germany!🙌🏽🔥⚽️ pic.twitter.com/tfX6hR9OSL— Ant👑 (@antpowell10) May 17, 2019 Anthony Powell is a former Junior College (Cleburne Hill College), UPSL (Inocentes FC), MASL (Dallas Sidekicks), and USL (North Texas SC) striker. According to his 2018 UPSL player of the week profile, he also spent time in FC Dallas' academy. I can't find a birthdate but a few HS scouting websites have him as part of the class of '14, so he's maybe 22 or 23? He was linked to smaller Icelandic and Costa Rican clubs last summer. Worth noting that he was named to the the UPSL best XI last fall. No word from him on which team he's actually signed with, but his instagram post puts him in Darmstadt.
Would be a mild surprise (but a good one!) if he signed with the first team of D98 at the B2 level, but there are a number of clubs in the region that seem like reasonable places for a guy with his profile to end up.
That's my assumption. If he did sign with D98, it's probably a 1 year contract to play for their u23 team (assuming they have one).
I don't think D98 have a reserve team it's why Gaines didn't play for over a year. And given that Darmstadt is a struggling 2BL club doubtful they are signing some no name player.
Ignacio Poplawski '98 born in Florida, is with the reserve of Estudiantes de la Plata in Argentina. Previously played with Boca United u17-18 (now South Florida FA). https://www.instagram.com/i_poplawski/ http://boca.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=1399872&player=28711851 https://www.eldia.com/nota/2019-5-1...mifinales-de-la-copa-de-la-superliga-deportes

movement of some minor German-Americans who don't have their own threads. 96-Jamey Hayse going from RL Bayern to 6th division. 96-Lamar Yarbrough going from OL/5th division to RL Bayern 91-Yannis Becker going from RL Nord to RL Nordost 99-David Marvin Gerber (seems to be German-American) returns from his 5th division loan back to his RL West club. 00-Alexander Downey (dual?), seems to be going from Saarbrucken U19 to Homburg II in 6th division
This gent bragged about the Orlando Pirates in South Africa having an American U17 GK named Blake Franzen (in a thread about possible FIFA age violations no less): sibonelo sithole @sibonelosithole Replying to @Boks_26 @FIFAcom We have an American goalkeeper in our U17 Blake Franzen, used to have a Ghanaian young forward in our development team in 2013! 3:37pm · 2 Jun 2019 (Since deleted). There is a GK with Orlando Pirates by that name, but no profile: https://www.orlandopiratesfc.com/academy/youth And he did have an infamous PK save/not save: The young Blake Franzen @orlandopirates will Never Forget This Mistake. But he had a SUPER @FutureChampsU17 saving 2 spot-kicks to help his side to a 8-7 win on Penalties & #OnceAlways are @southafrica's 1st #FutureChamps2019 in 11yrs of tournament. #SABCNews pic.twitter.com/Tp2XvyYYFZ— Ngcweti Thabiso Sithole (@ThabisoSithole) March 30, 2019 He did better the next day: Pirates goalkeeper, Blake Franzen, emerged the hero after he saved two spot-kicks.
Transfermarkt says that Justus Anoruo is Nigeria-born, but also a US citizen. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/justus-anoruo/profil/spieler/580163 He plays for Vejgaard Boldspilklub in Denmark's 3rd tier. The club has a profile page, but no bio info: https://www.vejgaard-bk.dk/spiller/justus-anoruo/ It looks like he has a brother Walter Anoruo, who lists "Lagos" as his hometown on his college bio. Transfermarkt says he is a US citizen, too: https://www.transfermarkt.us/walter-anoruo/profil/spieler/588952
T'Markt and FuPa say a '97 who was at TuS Hornau in Germany named DeVante Burnett is German-American. http://www.tus-hornau.de/web/fussball/1-herren/ https://www.fupa.net/spieler/de-vante-burnett-793851.html https://www.transfermarkt.de/devante-burnett/profil/spieler/414429 He seems to be on the move, to Germania Schwanheim. https://www.facebook.com/151918984880782/photos/a.362502093822469/2720763217996333/?type=3&theater On Facebook, he "likes" U.S. Soccer.
Don't really know what to make of this, but it looks like an '00 named Quentin Plourdeau is listed as French-American on this site: http://www.unfp.org/joueur/quentin-plourdeau-21923/ What appears to be his Facebook page includes a reference to a Pennsylvania town near Allentown, and shows a photo of him playing with a youth team of French fourth division club Tours FC four years ago. I couldn't immediately find evidence he was still there.
Looks like he played at least 1year at an NAIA school in Texas, where he listed Houston as his hometown. http://www.htramsathletics.com/roster/2/5/731.php Also JuCo ball: http://njcaa.org/sports/msoc/2010-11/div1/teams/RangerCollege/players/JustusAnoruo.html Apparently also some competitive indoor. http://stats.pointstreak.com/playerpage.html?playerid=6686514&seasonid=9585 And here's a reference to a German club. https://www.fupa.net/berichte/fc-he...r-noch-von-der-seitenlinie-aus-fu-188699.html
I'm not fact-checking this story myself -- just posting as an illustration of how database web sites are not perfect. 1139550975801331712 is not a valid tweet id
And here's one Transfermarkt doesn't say is a Yank, but who claims to be one: Mohamed Diabagate, from the Ivory Coast, currently a free agent and most recently with Al-Washm in the Saudi second division. https://www.transfermarkt.com/mohamed-diabagate/profil/spieler/550477 Several other sites list him as a dual citizen, but all except for goalzz.com are the type where players upload their own CVs. Here's an interview from a year ago, while he was playing in the Ivorian league and being linked to a move to France: http://www.pressivoire.com/index.php?page=detail-article&id=4310 He was in the US in 2014 and 2015. Parsing the interview, he may have been a citizen through one of his parents and had to apply for a certificate of citizenship. The club he played for in the US, Stade Breton NY, appears to have been an amateur club in the Eastern District Soccer League, so I'm not sure where "un club de D.3" came from.
