Thoughts? It seems he may have lost the dressing room but we cannot know that for sure. From the outside he always carried himself with class and I liked the way he responded to questions. It seemed he spoke honestly about what we all could see. It appeared that he knew we weren't a very strong side, would struggle to score and was trying to find the right balance as well as fight off injuries. We certainly didn't look good many of the times, but at least results weren't ridiculous for an expansion franchise. Bottom line is he was right when he said we don't have enough players or good enough players. Look at the KC game when we missed two clear opportunities to put the game away, against a hot LAFC team when we hit the post a few times and gave up the second goal in the 94th minute at LAFC. Look to the misses the last few games; Koch can't go in and score the goals. The players have to finish and the ones we have can't. He isn't wrong to say we need better players.

Basically I see a hard working team that isn't very good. We have about 6, maybe 7 MLS caliber players on the field at a time, but you need 11. It was always going to be hard.

That said, I support the team and the management has been fantastic the past three years so let's hope they made the right call and the team can find the back of the net. Thanks to Alan for all of his service and getting us here. You were class

I didn't see a hard working team. I saw a team that for the last couple of games was routinely beaten to the ball, or having the ball intercepted from the as they waited for it to get there. They were lazy.

There didn't seem to be any intent at the attacking end. They didn't move the ball and make plays. I don't think I saw a give and go, or overlapping run. At least none that amounted to anything.

Defense was completely lacking against the Sounders, but something changed after the first goal in Atlanta, and they firmed up. It's almost as if the pkayers decided to change the way they were set up to play. Last couple of games, things reverted. Especially after they gave up the penalty against RSL. An absolutely unnecessary foul.

There is a two week break in June. Hopefully, a permanent coach can be named by then. That will give the coach a couple of games before the summer transfer window opens in July to evaluate player needs.

Good points and I think we see mostly the same thing. I agree completely with what you said about Sounders to Atlanta game. I guess when I say hard working I meant most of the players. There are those that are lazy, for example I can't stand watching Lamah throw his hands up and quit whenever the play doesn't unfold the way he wants or he just watches people run past. Powell just isn't good enough. Mattocks and Manneh work hard also, they just aren't good either. They've had open opportunities to score and haven't put it in the net.

I also agree that the attacking end was lacking. I guess I was hoping that once Adi was able to play with Saief there would be a change in results.

Oh, well. Let's hope they pull together and salvage something. I didn't expect much this season and tried not to get too excited by those first few games. Keep it all in perspective.
