    Doesn't appear so ...

    Your thoughts on Steve Bruce??

I think Villa got what they expected from him. He is one of those managers that can garner some good results, but never really instills a long-term winning style on a club that can see them be competitive year after year. He's probably a Championship level manager, but I think Villa need to aim higher if they want to reach the heights of former glory. Another appointment in the Bruce vain and we'll be a yo-yo team at best.

Well, I think he could have played a more attacking style. Now he's out and Thiery Henry was rumored to be a candidate to replace him, but he just went to Monaco. Oh well, hope they can get someone to turn this thing around.

Dean Smith is the man tasked with turning Villa around. Can he do it??

Time will tell. I don't know much about him, but most reports out of Brentford are very positive (even on social media which is usually prime for criticism mainly).

Yeah everyone seems to think it’s a good hire as he plays an attractive style. We will see. Never seen a Brentford match.

    I’m here.

They still have the ability to give up late goals and give back 2 points but they are playing a much better system.

Hoping they don’t lose much in January.

Reading various comments, nobody seems sold on the GK.

And they sign a keeper. Maybe god subscribed to this thread?

Have I mentioned they could use a few more CB’s, a CDM and a fully healthy lineup for the next 180 days?

    And no “pull-backs” on loans.

    That is all.

    For now.

A saved PK in stoppage time preserves 2 points...I don’t recall a team with more stoppage time drama...usually bad news.

    Hopeful.

Last year Fulham was in form.

This year nobody played better for the last 13 games than Villa ... need it to now be “nobody played better for the final 3 games”,

I was getting kind of nervous those 7 mins of stoppage time. Can’t wait to see who they sign in the summer. Hope Villa can stay up and not go back down for a long, long time

Indeed, when Grealish was too generous on that late run into the box it was a “that might come back to haunt them” moment.

Then Mings goes out and the whole family got nervous...the dog wasn’t concerned. They sense things.
