Only yellow: https://streamable.com/npves?fbclid=IwAR1eT1-F7X27stFIKQskYuartPDyHchJ0TDqqy1YiKpmrrQ22UDYXN4t-5I Bet Gantar wishes he had VAR there.
I imagine they were looking down low for the point of contact with Bekkers feet possibly making contact with his hands/ball that they missed the contact with the arm. this is all speculation of course
I think this is probably exactly right. We all have heard of the concept of being too close to play as a referee. Here, as the FO, Rudolf is already right there and sees the player coming in with pace as the other player is bending over to pick up the ball. It's completely natural to be focused on the ball there. It is unfortunate for Rudolf, because he'll get majority of the blame, but just one of those things. I wonder what sort of angle Gantar and AR1 had.
Dave Ganter is the same David Ganter is a PRO referee? If so, curious as to how that works in terms of PRO allowing one of their referees work another professional league that they don't assign.
Slow down or pause the video around 0:19. Gantar may have been looking through one or even two players.
Drew Fisher had a middle in week two and has a fourth this weekend. I do wonder how the conversation between PRO and CSA goes when stealing these guys from MLS. I haven't seen any Canadian PRO ARs in CPL yet but I'm not familiar with them all. Looking forward to seeing clips of any of the new law changes being applied and sent out to us lowly refs in the country for next year.

Two things to look at here from a Canadian Championship game earlier this week: 1/ Would anyone have called the high foot at the beginning of the clip? For me, while it is high, the opposing player never seems to back away from it so hard to say there was any danger there. 2/ Is the keeper attempting to play the ball when he takes out of the attacker, thus should this be yellow or red DOGSO? 🍁 HOLD THAT CAVALRY GET A PENALTY IN THE 92nd MINUTE OF EXTRA TIME 🏆 QUILLAN ROBERTS GETS A RED.
