Skip Ander hasn't given up and is still trying with Sanchez. 1097615244447399936 is not a valid tweet id
Someone also mentioned about how he gave AS a shout out in the post match. Along with Ap and someone else. Talk about leadership material.
Why doesn’t this guy wear the armband? Why does it have to be the oldest guy out there? Young is not a captain, IMO.
is it the oldest? or longest serving? i think the latter but it just happens to coincide with the former. Smalling could be based on the latter and he wouldn't be the oldest. i share the sentiment nonetheless. at least Young is vocal. in the local tongue
Sanchez will be gone in the summer - Charlie Nicolas https://www.skysports.com/football/...hester-united-in-summer-says-charlie-Nicholas It's a relief that he's not gone for much longer as we could have feared with that type of injury. As difficult as it may be, we have a chance to get him out of the club. I believe that the club should just bite the bullet and either negotiate some type of payoff of his contract or they should send him away, even if it means agreeing to keep paying part of his salary. Unless he agrees to a move to China, there's no way he will not cost us serious money one way or another. Would hurt from a fiscal point of view but would be well worth in the end: for instance, we've got more than enough youngsters who need to have minutes available to them next season.
I really hope so, its sour grapes and i just had a feeling with Ole he can translate his Arsenal form in united shirt but he has been dog shi8 mostly. If we can ship him to China even for free it would be a good business.
It needs to be made clear to Sanchez that he's not in Ole's plans. We don't want someone who isn't producing and is injured until summer think he's working back to 100% to fight for his starting role next season because Sanchez is enough of a competitor to turn down any offers and do just that. But if we make it clear that he's not wanted by this regime, he'll be more likely to accept a move somewhere else. We'll basically be giving him away, but the recouped wages will be like selling him for 70 mil.
Its commercial business, i completely agree we should be honest and convey him straight to his face that his services are not required and manager doesnt fancy him. I doubt we will be able to ship him in summer but there are crazy dudes in China so one can hope.
Remember those numbers for Sanchez, the Rojo extension, the fact we only get players at release clause etc. when people keep saying Ed is a “financial genius” ..... Both the Sanchez deal and in particular those numbers have done this to our wage structure, transfer policy and club cohesiveness.
Its not actually new info - the source for Sanchez contract data (and a whole load of other stuff) was football leaks last spring based on the actual documents. The 75k per appearance was reported everwhere last May when the contract data was revealed. Dont have an issue with Metro and other paps rehashing it - as is still gob-smacking everytime it is republished.
I love how the Sanchez signing is talked about around here. We all agree that it's been a completely disaster and maybe our worst signing ever. But lets not forget we were all 100% on board when it happened and were talking about how we fleeced Arsenal. Also, the contract was/is a mess but its the only reason we got him over City. HIs failures here are partly due to his play, our play as a team, and him being utilized incorrectly from the start. That said, we need to sell him this summer for whatever we can. Hell, give him away to a Chinese team that'll match his salary.
Everyone was on board, because Sanchez was a world class player. Just looking at some of the seasons he put with Arsenal alone when he easily was the 2nd best player in the league behind Hazard for instance, justified the excitement. His last half season with Arsenal should have triggered alarms amongst us but it was also easy to think that the fact he was desperate to leave was the cause of his poorer play. In any regard, if he had performed with us the way he was expected to, his salary obviously would not be an issue in the least. We were not supposed to have just a top quality/elite player, but one who would make others around him better. And he turned anything but and we got a lemon in the end. With that said, this Sanchez, Mkhitaryan deal has to be one of the worst in recent memory in football though, with neither team apparently getting a good return on it, particularly with 2 players who were supposed to be pretty good.
Yeah, mikhi has been average at best sadly Emery hasn’t used a 4231 or 433 for a while with mikhi getting good time out wide He’s been bad centrally in the 3412 as well The only good things he’s done are a couple of byline low crosses Can’t believe how poor alexis has been though, I guess wenger gave him complete freedom and playing with giroud helps bring wide players in to the game like he has with hazard
Like I said, source was football leaks; https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_Leaks All news outlets covered it in May 2018; http://www.google.com/search?q=sanchez+75k+may+2018 When we speculated it was as if Mou had to keep playing him, it became apparent there were some pressures that meant that was the case.
Sanchez has been a disaster at United. Any way to repair the relationship? http://www.espn.com/soccer/club/man...d-is-there-any-way-to-repair-the-relationship Yes, via an act of God. Otherwise, that's a firm no. It definitely would be worth it, in so many different ways, to just get rid of the guy. Even if it ends up costing us money to do so.
Supposedly Ed now admits privately he made a big mistake. https://metro.co.uk/2019/04/21/ed-w...ing-alexis-sanchez-manchester-united-9279245/
Ole issues a warning to Sanchez, among others. https://www.skysports.com/football/...that-manchester-united-will-not-carry-players
Inter are interested in Sanchez, provided he's willing to lower his wages. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...news-alexis-sanchez-inter-milan-a8885921.html Even we have to bite the bullet and pay off part of his contract, it would be worth it to us to get Sanchez and his ridiculous salary off the club's books. As long as he remains, he'll be this huge anchor in the way of everything we try to do moving forward.
Even though I think Icardi has a good chance to flop, if they're willing to do a Sanchez for Icardi swap then we should jump at that chance.
