wow wow Poland ref awards a pen to Portugal near the end of match lines man overturns it from the the other side. Santos Portugal manager along with the ref and line man watch the replay of the pen together and ref apologies to Santos and says it was a pen
If Florentino just listened to Zidane we would have two of the three in Madrid.... we'd probably be going toward our 4th in a row as well.
As many suspected, FPF is on its way to the graveyard: UEFA are considering making changes to FFP, such as reducing the complexity of rules to give less focus on a club's revenue source. That could help UEFA avoid getting involved in ever-increasing, expensive court battles with clubs.[@FinancialTimes] pic.twitter.com/9vxsWmwlTk— City Xtra (@City_Xtra) March 25, 2019 More infos: - Fights among UEFA people between those that want more strict rules, and those that want to loosen it up. - Ceferin, and many others scared of clubs that will bring UEFA to court because of FPF/EU business rules problems. Don't want to fight it as UEFA would probably be set to lose in court. - Milan, PSG, and City are willing to fill complaint, and go to court. - Most likely, next FPF version will dump the rule about having to generate your own money. - The above means that as long as you're not in the red, no one will ask where the money is coming from. PSG, and City are expected to abide by the current rules this summer, but beyond that it seems they won the battle. If what is described is enforced, they will be able to freely use state money.
Supposedly Montenegro fans were making racist chants at English players all game. Sterling cupped his ears at the crowd after scoring on them. Heck of a player. Southgate said they will be reporting the abuse through official channels.
Sterling had 4 goals in 47 games with England until this past week. Let's calm down a bit. They got an easy draw in 2018, let's not forget the main reason behind the optimism over England.
Tldr.: FPP is shit. UEFA is corrupt as fck. Euphemism flying everywhere. We might as well exhume Pablo Escobar and finance Bernabeu and squad renovation!
They might as well just throw it all in the bin since they've clearly shown an inability to uphold the current regulations.
Too bad injuries took a toll on Kaka' by the time we signed him. 1109813951385272320 is not a valid tweet id
If it would be that easy to even win two in a row, somebody else would have done it. So far all these players we were supposed to sign are at 0 CL trophies.
17 - Harry Kane has scored 17 goals in 20 appearances under Gareth Southgate for England. Machine. pic.twitter.com/HI6Xvh8o8X— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) March 25, 2019 Since the beginning of 2017, no player has scored more international goals than Harry Kane. Second to none. https://t.co/1A6mv00EI9 Drop the mbappe nonsense. This is what we need. Classic #9
Unfortunately England has to visit two more Balkans countries, mine included (Kosovo) where racism could be a problem. Someone said it's the Balkans Racism Championship lol.
It’s crazy to think that football can solve or even control the racism problem given what’s happening world wide..
Classic #9 for sure, but also look at who his int'l goals came against: Since 2017 England hasn't played anyone decent except Spain, Croatia and Belgium and I believe Kane scored 0 goals in those 6 matches total.
International football is overrated to a ridiculous level. Most top Euro nations play against all these 3 mil. People countries during qualifiers and people present those stats nowadays as a "omg, what a player" I mean really though, Cyprus? Moldova?

What’s your experience with this in Kosovo Eddie, when I’m on holiday I’m seeing no hostility towards the black athletes playing in the football/basketball leagues. From my point of view, the literal hundreds of years of prosecution based on ethnicity has put people on a different mindset compared to neighbouring countries when it comes to things like this. I’d be surprised if anything like what happened in Montenegro does happen in Kosovo. Colour me ignorant come November tho if it does.
It's similar to what we see in some other countries where there are fans behaving like racists towards the other clubs players while they have colored players on their team, whom they like. I haven't experienced or seen racism towards blacks on the streets, we have many athletes, especially basketball players, who are well respected and treated like any other human being. But there's huge racism that actually leads to discrimination towards people like the Roma and other similar minorities. During the last week there was a big but kind of silent/secret campaign to not be racists towards the Bulgarians. Prishtina, being the capital city, is much different since we are more progressive people but there's some zones where people simply aren't educated and informed enough about the racism problems. To put it simply, if a black player scores then you will hear monkey chants and shit like that from the opposing fans but there won't be any discrimination due to racism against that black player in anything other than that. Now that's a very small portion of the fans doing it but it's still present almost every week and unfortunately it often goes unpunished. edit: to give some more perspective on this. Sports fans are usually more racist towards Africans and Arabs etc than black people from the UK or US. People love Americans over here .
You're smart enough to know adding those players to a great team like ours makes our team better. So I won't even waste time explaining something so obvious.
Normalising consecutive CL trophies is absurd. Two was considered impossible, especially during a time when there are clubs spending over a billion euro on their squad, but 3(!!!!) consecutive CL is not normal. No matter what squad you have, no matter what players you buy, winning this trophy is a gamble, so at the end of the day, no player and no situation is good enough to say "we would have won this many consecutive CL trophies" especially when we could have very easily won 0 consecutive CL trophies and people would have still thought we absolutely dominated this tournament if we would have won it biannualy. Again, all I'm saying is even speaking about consecutive CL trophies is crazy and normalises the probably biggest achievement in modern European football competition.
We won three in a row. If Florentino purchased Zidane's players we would have a stronger side and still be in the competition. That means we had a good chance at four in a row. Again, I'm not gonna explain the obvious.
