Juve will play the ICC in Asia, likely Singapore and China. They decided not to come to the US to avoid any possible risk for CR7 of being detained by US authorities following an alleged rape of Kathryn Mayorga.
No quit in this team! The U-20 #USMNT rallied from an 0-2 deficit to draw France, 2-2, in Spain. Konrad De La Fuente and Christian Cappis were the goal scorers. pic.twitter.com/TDaGgCk0J6— U.S. Soccer YNT (@USYNT) March 22, 2019 with Durkin
Friedel should be on the hot seat. New England just looked dispirited and bereft of ideas. How soon before "Happy Endings" Kraft cuts him loose? Also, listening to Paul Mariner "comment"on a game, if administered by the state, would be "cruel and unusual punishment."
Also because of you, NE will beat us this year, and Cincinnati will at least get a draw, and it will be your fault.
I am so over the expansion teams' fan bases. They're all so quick to be mortally offended. The FCC lot actually think that its a sign of depth and quality, beating an awful Revs team who wouldn't even try to execute the the stuff they practice. The U10s I coach are like that. Go get that result, on the road against a top half team when you're without 4-5 starters/contributors and then you can start waving your flag, otherwise, you just got a little lucky beating a dumpster fire opponent.
Another tradition is how Bradley Wright-Phillips plays in MLS, especially against us. And QJIII has to atone for that.
Absolutely. Every time you come on here and insist that he's a terrible player and he sucks, he puts up another hat trick on us and wins another Golden Boot.
I mean, you understand this is silly, right? The soccer gods allow us the right to think freely, seek truth, and talk shit. I'm not predicting the future, I'm observing the past. If I was saying, "Oh, New England is terrible, we'll easily beat them by three goals" now THAT would be tempting fate. You'll note that I rarely practice that kind of prediction, and when I do, I assume that my team will lose by a football score and get a couple of injuries and red cards for their troubles. Cynicism is a winning psychological strategy. In reality, I'm somewhat agnostic. Latif Blessing certainly didn't get struck by lightning this weekend.
Heretic. If I had a stake, some handy gasoline and felt like getting out of my chair you'd be burning at the stake right now.
So was Blessing indirectly saying DCU is better than LAFC, since he was conceding a goal to RSL? Maybe that was what spared him.
He's LAFC's 4th or 5th best forward. He predicted that they'd win 5-1 against RSL for some dumb reason. They only won 2-1.
I think the Wanker is in for a long season at RSL. Beckerman has gotten slower and I think age is catching up to Nicky's reflexes. I know the 5-0 result was -- partially -- a product of RSL playing a man and then two men down. However at even strength is already was 2-0 and RSL looked pretty toothless in the attack and DCU was getting the majority of scoring opportunities.
On the surface, we are one of the better teams... they are not. It was 2-nil when they went down a man, three was not out of the question, but then going down a man for an hour and then another is tough. As a GK myself, I feel for Rimando, it’s going to be a long season. They weren’t a playoff team to start.

This from Matt Doyle on MLS.com: From a friend who was at the 2-2 draw between the US U-20s and France's U-20s (an excellent friendly result for the US, and a game that was not broadcast or streamed): "Chris Durkin was the best player on the field for either team."
