Napoli talks for Veretout? By Football Italia staff Napoli have reportedly agreed basic terms for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout, who was in the city earlier this week. According to CalcioNapoli24, President Aurelio De Laurentiis and agent Mario Giuffredi discussed the situation in a meeting in Rome today. Giuffredi was formally talking about the extension of contracts for Napoli full-backs Elseid Hysaj and Mario Rui. However, he also took the opportunity to lay out the foundations of a future transfer for Veretout. The 26-year-old dropped a few hints that he sees himself at the Stadio San Paolo, as this week he was on vacation in Naples and proposed to his girlfriend in the city. Veretout scored five goals and provided four assists in 27 competitive appearances for Fiorentina this season. He joined the Viola from Aston Villa for €7m in the summer of 2017.
Veretout looks to be a Diawara replacement which I'm more than okay with as he's better than him and we can get a bigger sum for Diawara.
If in midfield we get Vertout for Diawara Fornals for Hamsik And get Lazaro we would be really strong. We can also sell Ounas and Rog. We will make money. Seems Hysaj and Rui is extending. So we just on top need Lozano and a defender.
That makes our midfield a lot better. Selling Rog makes sense, I think maybe keep Ounas another season, if he fails to break into the 1st team next year then we sell. We're covered for full backs. Lozano would be a great addition offensively. Lazaro is a right mid or right back?
