At first I was a bit skeptical with Sarri's decision to sign Higuain but after watching his performance in his match against Huddersfield I was kinda impressed. Thoughts?

Haven’t watched a lot of Higuain so some things I was surprised about. He’s quicker on his feet with the ball in tight spaces than I expected. Even though he isn’t the prototypical pressing ST you can see he clearly knows how and when to press in Sarri’s system.

He was sloppy with some passes but he is strong and does not get caught losing ball on the dribble like Moratta, and I think the passes will get better with time and learning his teammates.

Not a speedster but very smart, crafty with off ball movement, attracts double coverage and drags defenders out of position and gets/plays deeper into their box, makes the whole team better, more dangerous.

I was a bit skeptical thinking long term, but looking like a great short term deal, and the way he plays, probably a good transitional 2-3 years deal

I don't have an opinion after 2 games. Ask me next week. :)

It takes time to adjust to a new league. He's been OK. Not great. No better than Michy, Giroud. I have more confidence in him scoring a goal than Morata, though.
