a few of us STHs smelled rats a long time ago- so many poor signings and wasted miilions over the past 3-4 years of robo's tenure- it was either soccer incompetence or something more obscene- the story was broken by Glass City who has a mole inside the Caps front office and G C has said that he has heard this vile connection between robo and a soccer agent called david baldwin who used to work with Base Soccer Agency if true- and i believe it is- then carl robinson's career as a coach has to be over... and rightfully so it will be interesting to see what carl robinson does

And thus the "but they didn't even submit an expansion bid!!!!" protest is bullshit. It was an up and down process obviously but I think the way it worked out is pretty awesome for all sides, outside of Bobby Epstein at least. It's hard to comprehend the hypocrisy of a lead investor in the Circuit of the Americas taking a moral stance against government handouts for sports facilities.

Dave Greeley scouting out the Austin USL team in 2013. Just a few months after PSV bought the Crew. That tells me everything about their intentions from day 1. The tanking was on purpose. Good luck Austin. No one really knows what PSV can do when they actually want to succeed.
Eh, the Austin Aztex were the Crew's minor league affiliate for a season or two. IMO PSV did try in Columbus for a few years, they just aren't very good at their jobs. Exhibit A for that proposition being the employment of Dave Greeley.
