    I mean it's better than:
    A) Doing nothing
    B) Resigning Ziggy
    C) Going after someone like Preston Smith
All of which I was kind of expecting. This at least gives us something on the edge. It's absolutely an overpay, but it's evidence that the organization has some kind of pulse or ambition in FA. I don't think it's terrible, despite it not being what I would've done.

Zimmer is without Barr and now Richardson. I hope I don't have to hear excuses for Kirk if the defenses regresses some. Zimmer has his work cut out for him. Obviously OL is a priority, but are you looking to re-stock at LB and DL in the draft @Emperor Adriano ?

Packers sure are splashing some cash on their defense. Good luck with Preston, though....

Downgrade from Ingram, but still a solid option. To be honest, he might not stick around after training camp because they are a handful of mid-to-late round backs out there to be had in the draft. This class isn't like last year's, but there is decent gambles in the later rounds.

I thought it was a one year thing.. Its actually turning into a whole "QB of the future" type thing and I'm scared now.

Maybe this is a deal where seeing it live vs film is eye opening, but as I said before, all you really need is the college tape to see these things. The film doesn't lie. I am tired of going through this annual routine where the media and scouts lose their mind over the combine and pro day. Kyler measures 5'10? WOW, he's a surefire 1st overall pick now! Kyler's pro day? He's dropping dots all over the field. 1st overall to the Cards! Haskins was the clear cut #1 QB at the end of the college football season. That wasn't the case during the season. Now you have these trival events occur and Kyler all of the sudden is the #1 QB and Haskins slids out of the top 10 in some mocks for no reason. Now Haskins does what he does at the pro day, which is no different than what he had done during the season, and now they are raving about him again. Cmon man.

I'd rather have jake Fromm/play for the lottery of lawrence next year then either of these two guys.
About the kyler vs haskins thing sure the hype is annoying about kyler murray but people over draft qbs and kyler myrray has a higher iq than haskins. If the wonderlic results leak i'm sure this will be shown. Not saying it is a great strategy but kyler murray checks boxes for these teams.
I personally don't think either are worth a top 10 ( maybe haskins 6-10) but who really pays for things at their worth???? Housing in this country is one example. If I looked for a good deal on a house i'd have my dick in my hand for 40 years or the next crash.

Yeah, QB is always overvalued. I am just amazed how people are trying to justify Kyler over Haskins now. I actually think the IQ thing would be the opposite, but I guess we will see. Haskins' parents wouldn't let him bring a C from school. I've disagreed before with Louis Riddick, but I usually consider him a good barometer of someone in the media that has a good head on their shoulders. He has Haskins over Murray.

As far as next year, everyone wants to tank for Tua. I don't think Tua is that great to be honest. I would prefer one of the two guys you like. But chances are, they will get overdrafted like every QB does. But let's not overlook that you can find value sometimes at the position because people misjudge a QB. Just see how "far" Mahomes went.

The thing about waiting for the next QB class is so much can change in a year. I remember Christian Hackenberg being hailed as a can't-miss prospect a year before he was draft-eligible. I remember when Jarrett Stidham got a lot of hype last year before he decided to go back to Auburn. I remember when everyone was enthralled by Sam Darnold next year while Pat Mahomes slipped through their fingers. I like Darnold, I think he'll have a good career, but Mahomes could be a generational talent.

Don't like Jake Fromm. Inconsistent.. In everything.

Everyone should love Lawrence for his accuracy and poise. His receiving core doesn't get enough credit tho.. Idk how amazing Trevor is cuz of that.

Tua has a lot of questions to answer this next season. Idk how much of his reads are based on him guessing coverages. But then again his body of work is amazing.
