Qatar played an amazing first half against Japan in the final, and is leading 2-0. Damn.[emoji848]

And they also bought the players. We have out issues, but at least our players are Colombian and we aren't slaving people to build stadiums

Having to watch someone watch a stream on YouTube would be a brutal way to watch it. I was hoping Espn+ would show it. Mexican announcers are cancer

I know it is just a friendly and Venezuela usually gives us fits too but Argentina is looking pretty bad.
I hope they play like they did today against us in June. They look like a mess defensively.

    True.
They have had our number that is for sure.

But some streaks come to an end. We had a horrible winless streak against Brazil and ended it by finally beating them last Copa America.
Hopefully we can get over the hump against Argentina this Copa.

The sad thing is that argentina has been extremely poor the past few years..the brazil we beat is levels ahead of this argentina, yet like you said they continue to have our number. Dont know if its a mentality thing or just bad luck but id like to see it end

    Can’t always blame luck

Hope the new coach finds his team, get them to believe their mission then doesn’t shit his pants when winning is up for grabs

Of course it's a mentality thing; look how we have our squad perform against a team like France and have weak feet when against teams like Argentina and Brazil.

You talk like england just walked over colombia to the round of eight..........were ********ing penalty kicks.....they only scored us with a doubtful penalty and then have better shotting.

Just for the proof there are 12 players of england that played that day.............are still in champions league: Kane, Rose, Trippier, Henderson, Dier,Alli, Rashford, Lingaard, Sterling, Young, Stones, Walker

In Colombia we only have alive Davinson and Cuadrado that is injured and have been esential. (like almost all years) ........isnt coincidence that the players of our national team are excepetions in important isntance of the major tournament of clubs the world.

You Think that we are better that all teams of the world..........and that we have to defeat all teams with our guys that plays in america mexico, levante, brighton, espanyol, boca, river......Yeah our midcamp dont have friction with elite.

We are not elite we have like 3 players above the average of good players in europe thats it, isnt like all teams are afraid of santiago arias because lives in europe or roca sanchez that only played once europa league in all his career in europe ..............Pekerman leaded the team to achievements that never was made in our poor and shitty football history and quieroz will have a difficult work to win a cup with us or even pair what pekerman did with us...........(argentina in crisis have better players than us, same for brasil, and in this moment urugauy have a better roster)

Mentality is to know that we have to know that he to work and developed a lot before be a housepower. No bitch players that never receibed the enough developement to become players of the elite.

At the moment with a lot of effort to be proud we are team with europa league qualit and we should focues in imporved that...then the achievements of the national will come............our stars only have reached the glory in that tournament as main stars.....

No I don't think that we're the best in the world and I know we're not just calm down. What I am saying that our team didn't pay against england with confidence.

Hell we even talked about this by the time this world cup had ended. What made us a team that was able to take on lot of good teams was the fact that we had solid chemistry. Hell we've proven this since being under pekerman when we took on european giants and some teams within our own neighborhood. Our team was doing great from 2012 against teams like Brazil, Uruguay, and Chile during our early days with Pekerman. Hell my personal favorite is when we came back 0-3 to 3-3 in the match that brought us back to the world cup after 16 years. That amazing home match against Chile was amazing especially when we played Beligum and Netherlands later that same year.

More recently in the last few years we did well aginst Spain and France, european giants mind you who are carrying very elite collection of players. Yes a good amount were friendlies from the nations I mentioned but they were still good nonetheless. Our players never gave up on those matches and kept pushing and pushing.

My issue with the england match is that we played with fear and failed to connect our passes and play. We barely made it into extra time thanks to Mina saving our asses yet again and I sure as hell recall plenty of people here (and generally a lot of colombians outside of here) complaining how we turned our bellies over to England.
