Agree on Milik but Ghoulam looks horrible. We should give him time.

Probably because there's not 1, but 2 former team members at the top.

    Yeah you have

    1. Arguably one of the best players in history
    2. One of the best Italian forwards of the past 10 years who is having a record season at 36
    3. Two of the best Polish strikers of this generation. Piatek one of the best young CF's in the world
    4. The top Colombian CF who is having a fantastic season
    5. Immobile, a two time capocannoniere

stretching a bit here what have those players done on the big stage ? Excluding Ronaldo ? Just a bunch of small team forwards scoring some goals. I guess Lucarelli was a champion.

Quagliarella is still playing at a high level and leading Ronaldo in scoring. This is deserving of praise not negativity. Also it's universally accepted that Milik, Piatek and Zapata are having fantastic seasons.

If you take La liga, after Messi and Suarez, the next three top goal scorers are Ben Yedder(who?), Stuani and JAIME Mata. Tell me what those guys have done on the "international stage".

You just like complaining for complaining sake.

or perhaps i have a higher standard for players. The fact that Quags and Ronaldo are pulling those numbers also shows the sorry state our league is in. You cant say we have the best defending going on anymore.

Ronaldo scored a hattrick against Atletico last week.

Also Ben Yedder would being up there shows Spain’s quality.

It's not that you have a higher standard for players, it's just you don't have the first clue what you're watching. Sad after all these years watching the game you still don't know your ass from your elbow.

    Bunch of nobodies

Scoring winning goals for team = lowered standards. Yep, that's a winning strategy.

I think more along the lines of Allan being sold for a huge sum.

Both Mertens and Callejon said they will stay next year even if their contracts are not renewed and will then leave for free after.

Take a look at the “tremenduous goal” every analyst is blowing their load on last week from Suarez. Decent dribbling but two of the guys he went around might as well been cones.

Serie A isn’t easy to score in. Celebrate these scorers like quags

    'Napoli or Milan' for Veretout
    By Football Italia staff
    [IMG]
Napoli and Milan are reportedly involved in a transfer tug-of-war for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout.

According to La Nazione, Napoli are ready to go back in for Veretout this summer, but their first offer was ‘at least €5m lower’ than Fiorentina’s asking price of ‘no less than €20m’.

On the other hand, Calciomercato.com claims the Frenchman’s name came up during a conversation between his agent Mario Giuffredi and Milan director Leonardo on Wednesday.

The website writes the Viola will sell if they receive a bid of €30m for the 26-year-old, who confessed his desire to join a Champions League club earlier in the week.
