They could be – Nepal have matched India in some recent games including the "Gold Cup", and FWIW Nepal's done the same in SAFF junior tournaments too. Let's see how today's final goes.

India's going for 5 SAFF titles out of 5. They're used to thriving in away environments, according to coach Maymol Rocky and team captain Anju Tamang.
Nepal's coach Hari Khadka is favouring a 'cautious' approach: "We will definitely win the title." For his captain Niru Thapa, too, Nepal's recent rise has been a question of motivation.

And in non-news, Goal Nepal has made a PREDICTO for the final  "A lucky winner will win Adidas t-shirt from Labels Nepal. What are you waiting for? HURRY UP!!"

    Her 4th in the tournament's 4 games.

Some rough play in the match so far, including a professional foul not called, right outside Nepal's penalty area on 37'. Near the end of the first half, Nepal were threatening again, but it's 1-1 at half-time.

Second half: India are really testing Nepal, and it finally pays off:

Then 62' Goal India - Grace Dangmei is released on the break by Ranganathan, nicely rounds GK Magar, and chips into the goal from just inside the area. [IMG] 2 - 1 [IMG]

One more goal by Anju Tamang (78'), and it's a 3-1 win for India, who still rule the roost in SAFF. The hosts Nepal had no answer to them in the 2nd half – it's their fourth time as runners-up.
