Not just that, he reads the ball in the air well, and has great timing on his jump. It’s a bit of a shock when he doesn’t win the header.

FS2 showing Wes and Tyler swapping jerseys and chatting after the game.

They might as well take the same flight out of town!

As bad as they are, I do hope they can turn it around given the opportunities there for Yanks and other young players. A viable right back option would be a nice pick-up, allowing Wes to play in a position that better utilizes his talents.

Hopped on the treadmill for the second half, but I thought both Ams did perfectly fine. McKennie with 2 cute rainbows. Adams just clogging things up, very active, very confident. Both looked among the better players on their teams.

Schalke can't shoot. At all. They had the ball drop in a few lucky moments but couldn't even force the save or corner. No finishing at all.

Commentators were raving about Adams. His contributions are not the most obvious but those with refined eyes see his quality.

if you can't see what he brings to the table perhaps you should check your own vision. The way he presses and recovers loose balls alone is elite.

I don't remember Tyler ever using his head so much as he did in this game.
