Arsenal needs a spell of possession to relieve the defense and start to push S***s back. Too much energy spent in our own third at the moment.

    Nice attempt by Iwobi.

Crunch time for Arsenal as they look to close out the half. C'mon lads!

If we try to manage a 1-0 lead by sitting back for another 45' we will NOT survive.

I think we have to come out with a different approach... more possession or more counters or new shape or whatever it takes to keep them away from our area more.

Overall, great first half. Biggest difference is we've take advantage of their mistakes, they haven't. I don't think they are playing smart either. They aren't attacking Mustafi who is out of position and not good.

Iwobi had a great shot at the end, but the rest of the game he's lost possession a lot. Glad Miki showed up for this one. He's not consistent. Hopefully he's rounding into a run of good form.

Is it too late to offer Ramsey 452k a week? When he plays his role right, he's the heart of our team and makes everything go.

    HT: 0-1

Work rate by Arsenal has been strong. Still need to improve passing out from the defensive end because Arsenal is still giving up too many second-chance attacks. Mikhi and Iwobi doing well to track back but eventually they'll tire at this rate.

Torreira in for Guendouzi. OK but basically a straight swap. So we'll have to see if Emery changes anything else.

    COME ON YOU!!!!

I like the move to bring Torreira on at this point. Forces S***s to adapt straight out of the break.

OH. That's 2 big misses from Laca, each from 8 yds out. That better not come back to haunt us!!!

Another fantastic challenge by Sokratis in our own area. He's such a natural defender!

Auba coming on for Laca. Not Iwobi. Another straight swap. Hmm... I guess he's sticking with the plan.

Edit: 2 voluntary subs before 55'. Man what a difference this manager is!

Mustafi killed that offensive build up with a lazy giveaway. Mikhi forced to take a yellow to stop the ensuing counter.

Meanwhile Poch makes a offensive-minded sub: Lamela in for Wanyama.

Oh boy this may be a nervy last 30'
