I have a pretty modest collection of boots now and I've realized that I'm not using 95% of them, most of them only used one or two times. I'll also be moving soon and unfortunately taking them with me probably isn't possible as I just won't have the space for them.

I would really like to donate them however I'd really like to make sure that they go to children/people who really need them, not resold. I want them to be just given out to someone who loves the sport as much as I do but maybe can't afford to buy a a new pair of boots.

Does anybody know of any charities/organizations that could help me out?
I found a couple online however they aren't based near me in my part of Canada so if I have to ship them anywhere I'd like to make sure they go to a reputable charity/organization that will redistribute them for free.

    Cheers!

I believe soccer.com distributes wearable used boots to charities world wide, you might contact them.

I've donated to charities in the past that send the boots across to Africa but when I did they were doing a huge push across football clubs.

I tend to send most of my boots/trainers to charity shops (believe they are called Good Will in America).

Or I just give them away to friends who need new boots. I've got one friend in particular who hasn't had to buy a pair of boots since he was about 14 because I've always made sure he's had a pair to play in.

I think as long as someone is benefiting from them then that's the main thing.

    Thanks for the replies!

Unfortunately my area of Canada is a little remote/removed from a lot of things of bigger cities.

Good Will was my first choice as well but I also know that sometimes even $20/$30 might be too much for some people.

I unfortunately being a man with small-ish feet find it hard to find anyone, definitely not in my friend group, with similar sized feet

I think I'll take a look at the soccer.com option! That seems the most like what I was looking for.

Seriously thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate it!

    Cheers!
