idk how i feel about this group under chima ruiz but theres several interesting players: Eugenio Pizzuto Jesus Gomez Jorge Garcia Efrain Alvarez Leonardo Correa Sergio Gamez Rafael Lopez Andres Tellez & Ronaldo Zinedin Hernandez use to b part of this cycle on the u15 stage but haven't really included in the last couple of call ups.
FIFA announced Peru will no longer host the u17 worldcup that was suppose to be played in September,October https://elcomercio.pe/deporte-total...fa-quito-sede-mundial-fpf-noticia-nndc-610485

0-0 HT. Mexico looks to be the better team but the wet conditions haven't helped them and also the fact that Jamaica is being allowed to kick the crap and they are bigger and have used that to their advantage.
Mexico wins 1-0 Mess of a game Jamaica were more worried about wasting time and lunging into opposing players.
That ref was absolutely awful Two horrible challenges should’ve seen two Jamaicans off Again, the fkn weather in youth tourneys slows what could have been a decent game Also, lol at not starting Efrain...what are they thinking?
They do this shit of starting Alvarez in the 2nd half like a super sub (and like if they have a 1st half to give away) which is super stupid. I knew he was going to come for minute 46. Chima Ruiz worries me a lot for this tournament.
Mexico's U15's would run rings around this team. Promote the coach from that team and put him charge of the U17's. This is Chima's third(?) cycle and his teams still play like shit.
Lol Chima benched Alvarez again. The only player on this team that can create a chance out of nothing is on the bench in a knockout game because FMF loves to hire head cases for their youth national teams.
More than the mistake off not starting with Alvarez, it has been in starting Muñoz over Correa. And Eugenio Pizzuto has done nothing in the tournament so far.
The technical ability from some of these players is just horrifically bad. Like some of the worst I've ever seen from any Mexico youth national team.
1-1 tie at halftime Mexico dependent on individual talent instead of cohesion as a team. Also not good the desperation from the team and how badly that translated to their play.
