I think we over glorify the distant past and overly vilify the present. I've come to the conclusion, sadly, they just haven't been good enough. I don't see players coming through that lead me to believe a quinto should be expected.

 

Next wc will have a front trio of Lozano, Jiménez, and Lainez

If we have 3-5 players starting on top clubs and the rest just notch or two below like 3-5 rafas/hugos then I'll be like we can legit make a run. We've only had one at any given time, that's not going to be enough most of the time.
