Scored a nice goal, once again from a small angle.

To me Morelos is going to be the most interesting callup or non- callup in March.

It may all depend on how high or low Queiroz regards the Scottish league compared to other leagues. And of course how much he will rely on input from whoever his Colombian adviser will be. (Rumor is Reyes)

Haha after the U20 showing Reyes needs to hid out in a cave for a while. And start from
The bottom. Most pathetic showing from a Colombian team in a while.

If he calls a huge roster of 30+ guys which would be good for 2 games. Then yes but if we call our regular 23-25 player rosters with 2-3 gks

    Then no

He to me is 6th or 7th striker. After 1st two you can debate the order all you want. Tho I’d honesty pick Borre or Cucho above Muriel as he has been a disappointment for so long.

    Zapata
    Falcao
    Borja
Muriel (2 goals in Italy doesn’t make him better then Borja)
    Cucho/Borre
Morelos - part because of the league and part because he was just so fking awful

The thing is we don't know how Queiroz feels about South American leagues compared to Euro leagues. He could be snobbish about it for all I know.
Heck, we don't even know if he will give old guys a chance like Rodallega and Jackson based on their reputation and their European League clubs and if he believes they fit into his system.

It is all just guessing as of now.

You can't seriously judge a player based on his first 15 mins?

The good thing is that all of a sudden we have many interesting options. The nt doesn't need Falcao badly anymore, but he can inspire and teach young players so he is exremely valuable still.

I don’t know man I didn’t want Yepes def felt we had better defenders. But he scored some goals and lifted the team when they needed a leader.

Falcao might not be better then Zapata but he def a big game player and will take the team on his back.

Tho if he calls Bacca, Falcao, Jackson and Rodallega. I’d think someone was trolling us and hacking futbolred

The second goal was something Ronaldo (brazilian) would do, beautiful shot. A shame he got expelled, but defenders there are trying to get him expelled at every turn, this one pushed him three Times in less than 6 seconds to try to break his balance and was not able to do It.

Morelos is doing just about everything he can in Scotland, hopefully Quiroz calls in a ton of guys and gets a good look at them and Morelos is included. I think its clear he has to leave in the summer to a more challenging league if he wants to really cement himself in the national team and grow his career. He's developing really well, you can't ignore all those goals even if its in a poor league but he's gonna have to prove it on a bigger stage soon, until then he'll always be fighting an uphill battle against players in Spain, Italy and even the big south american teams.

Maybe the time off due to the red card fully recharged his batteries.

Technically Uribe's debut was pretty good in the Non FIFA friendly against Brasil.

Marlos Moreno's debut was great against Bolivia (was it his debut?) Anyway, debuts don't mean much. I'm sure Morelos was just nervous. Or just unlucky. Or both.

Morelos is giving Queiroz a lot to think about that is for sure.
It will be hard not for him not to call him up unless he just does not think highly of Scotland.

Want to see more non fifa days so we can try more guys. Tho the Brazil one was cool they didn’t let us use players from there league like Mina.

Think we should try to get these games against Uruguay or Mexico. Mexico plays a ton of these when we play them they let us use their club players. Uruguay they are #3 in SA and we need to leap frog them.

That is true but we still saw the quality against pretty good domestic Brazilian opponent while in the Colombian shirt.

We have not seen Morelos do anything in the Colombian shirt yet but you are right he deserves a chance scoring goals at a great rate for his club.

There are not many young promising strikers. Morelos and Cucho are the best ones and they both need a chance to prove themselves. The Scottish league is not the best in Europe but Morelos' level couldn't be much higher than it is.
