At the end of the day, it was the same 4-2-3-1 possession bullshit that we've seen since HMB.

Why the fck did they hire this guy?

This happens if you keep playing Kim Seung Gyu, Lee Yong, Jung Woo Young and Ji Dong Won. Bento you mofo fck off asap. Don't blame the players. This tournament was terribly managed. We should have listened to the Chinese...

Bento I doubt will get fired, and still has a year and a half left to his contract. What he needs to improve on:

-Selections. He is absolutely stubborn with guys who are ineffective. Lee Yong, Jung WY, and even Kim Seung Gyu.

-Stubbornness with tactics. He needs to experiment more and be more open to having his fullbacks playing different roles/instructions.

to be fair that was a very good shot through two defenders. well placed as well. a better keeper might have saved it but no guaratee.

Lol that was truly fvcking pathetic. Did this team or coaching staff we would win playing at half tempo all game? The only impetus we had was the sequence that led up to the offside goal.

We let them have shot after shot. They were literally shooting at will. Meanwhile we just put in endless crosses floating in on a prayer and meandering back passes amongst ourselves. Wow it’s amazing how bad the team looked today. Truly a new low in Korean football.

Look at the bright side. Son won asian games and got exemption... and he's going back to spurs.

Stielike reached the final while Bento has lost against Qatar in the QF. People were saying it was easy to reach the final because we played against the like of Uzbekistan and Iraq.
Now, I am curious to listen to the guys who were defending Bento despite having played like shit the entire tournament.

lol what do you guys expect Bento to do more when our shitty players cant even do any 1v1 at all? Even in defense, they cant defend shit 1v1.

We need to STOP using most of these useless players.

Well that's unfortunate but there was wayyy too much shit happening behind stage that I'll still give Bento another chance.
Too much injury going on, KMJ witch hunt, LSW's "tantrum" that caused a problem, and players being wayyy overworked. To be fair, I wasn't really feeling this tournament from the get go. Just not interested.
I'm willing to give Bento more tries but his biggest downfall is his over-reliance on the same core players. His team selection and starting XI sucks, but maybe it's because he didn't have enough time to properly scout and test out different players. Let's see how things change after this AC.

Again, 80 mins of "build up" play passing sideways and backwards. How is this different from stielike tactics. #bentoOut

kinda agree here. this board has a heavy bias for CHW and against KSG, and yes, he did not react well, but it was a very good shot.

And why bring on Ji Dong Won when trailing? You know he isn't going to scoring. Scoring is not his forte, probably more of an allergy to it then anything else. And this is a forward we're talking about.

I don't hate Bento's tactics. I absolutely dislike his starting 11 selections and the way he uses his subs. This is a common problem we've been having with our managers.

    This.

Those who are placing ALL the blame on Bento (he's not entirely exempt) need to get your eyes checked.

Then why not play players who can actually play 1v1?

Why not put 2 up top instead of 1?
