Napoli pay €25m Fornals clause? By Football Italia staff Napoli have agreed to pay the €25m release clause for Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals, according to Mundo Deportivo. He turns 23 next month and already has two senior caps for Spain under his belt. Fornals would increase the Spanish contingent at the Stadio San Paolo after Raul Albiol, Jose Callejon and summer signing Fabian Ruiz. Villarreal only signed him from Malaga for €12m in the summer of 2017. So far this season, Fornals has scored three goals and provided four assists in 29 competitive games. We have survived and strengthened with every major sale. We will get through this. I love Allan but we've used him through his best years. For the type of style he plays he won't be able to sustain this for more than another 2 or 3 years. Let's not kid ourselves, Allan is worth 40mil roughly and we'll be getting a HUGE sum for him.
